Pros: Easy set up. Great picture. Works on my phone. Wireless setup was a breeze
Cons: So far I have not found any and have managed to work out how to do everything myself. TBC
Other Thoughts: I have yet to set up to take footage or stills. I have connected it to my ftp but thats as much time as i had so far, but that is next. We are able to view the " kitty cam' from anywhere on our phones , picture Quality is outstanding really, even in the dark. LIke all camera shots, pointing it away from a light source will keep pic from getting washed out.

Good camera/Poor support
Pros: Camera does take pictures and send them to you in email. Placed in a window facing outside, you will know when your kids come home and when packages are delivered.
Cons: Abismal customer support. You can find Youtube videos from Foscam showing you how to set most things up, but no troubleshooting. Interface is not user friendly either. When you need help website LIvechat kicks you from one IT person to the next without talking to you. It actually kicks you off the system if you wait too long for them to respond. It took a couple of hours trying to get someone on Livechat to help, finally they told me that my password didn't work because it couldn't take special symbols. (Why not say that on the webpage?) Audio doesn't work on a Mac. Couldn't get multiple cameras to show on one webpage on a Mac. Updating firmware is a nightmare! Spent all day trying to get cameras functional again after installing it. In the end, couldn't get one camera to use my new username and password without leaving the default admin username and password intact as a Visitor setting. Now anyone can see what I see in that camera. (They cannot control the camera.) Night vision only works if you want to reset it from night vision to day vision and back every day.
Other Thoughts: You almost have to be an IT person to get this going without having to put yourself into a Mental Health facility before you finally give up trying to make it do what it says it will do.

Great indoor camera!
Pros: Easy setup, IR for night viewing, works with android phone, pan, tilt.
Cons: no DVR capabilities? Too short of power cord.
Other Thoughts: This camera is awesome! I purchased it from another source but I wanted to leave a comment here. The setup wasn't too bad and I had the right networking equipment to set it up. I am currently watching my dogs at my house. The picture is great for a wireless web camera. I haven't tried the voice part and probably won't as this is only to watch my dogs during the day. I actually couldn't be happier with it and am thinking about purchasing another outdoor model for areas around my house.

Decent camera, slow shipping
Pros: Remote pan/tilt capability
Cons: Chunky 'video'
Other Thoughts: I got this camera on sale for $69.99, and I think I got what I paid for. This is my first IP camera so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, although I did assume that 30FPS would mean real-time video, but the video this camera delivers is more like quick individual pictures strung together. That may be due to transmitting over my wireless network, but the point is this is a wireless camera so most users will experience this quality of video. I like the fact that it has IR capability, and while the picture isn't great when the IR has taken over, it isn't horrible either. Setting up the camera was pretty easy and straight-forward, and I think this would make a nice camera to mount overlooking a porch or deck and give you a basic view outside at visitors or lurkers, so long as it was protected from the elements (under an overhang). It would also make a great baby monitor.
