5 out of 5 eggsNice Camera

Pros: Nice video
Easy setup
Good quality

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This Wi-Fi Camera has very good video in both day and night. It was easy to setup and connect to my router. The sound has to be turned up high but it audible. Downloaded a google app for the tablet and phone and it works nicely. The sound on the tablet and phone is lower with a small delay but useable. I don't use apple only android (don't like apple) so don't know if their app's work or not.

2 out of 5 eggsNot dependable

Pros: Motor is very quite. IR works well.

Cons: Wireless adapter died after 5 days. Their support is worthless. The box states they have a 2 year warranty, but they will give you the run around and never honor that warrenty. I have 15 years experience as a Systems Engineer and Network Admin. I'm fully capable of configuring and troubleshooting this camera. I was give two of these cameras. After 5 days one of them would not longer see any wireless devices. I did a factory reset, swapped antenna, upgraded firmware, and nothing fixed it. All the while I am being passed from one support person to another and nobody will offer me an RMA.
This was given as a gift at a baby shower so I did not have any of the order information. I provided Foscam with a picture of the bottom of the phone showing all the serial and part number of the device. For any company with decent customer service that is adequate information to RMA a device. I finally had to ask the person who gave it to me as a gift if they had a receipt. Instead of requesting and RMA I just returned the cameras for a refund. I do not tolerate poor customer service. Nor do I want to risk using this camera to keep an eye on anything valuable.

Other Thoughts: I found several free Android apps that worked ok with this camera, but never found a good free iPhone app. I could see the camera but could not use the pan or tilt. I was never able to audio from the camera on either Droid or iPhone. The audio from a web browser was sketchy at best. I did not spend much time on this though since I returned the cameras after two weeks.

5 out of 5 eggsbest value for money

Pros: This newest model Foscam has a solid look and feel. Works as described in both wired and wireless mode. Comes with a bracket that allows you to mount it right side up or upside down. The web interface allows flip and mirroring of the image. The IR works well for an average sized room. Was easy for me to setup. The price for: wired/wireless/pan/tilt was the best. Arrived in 2 days from this seller. Bought two so far. Includes power adapter and cable.

Cons: Resolution is 640 x 480 - if you're trying to read license plates or recognize facial features across the street- you won't. The power cord is quite short so it will need to live near an outlet unless you do some custom wiring. Splicing in 20 feet of wire is too much for the power adapter to handle. Need to recognize that there are two different MAC addresses: one for wireless and one for wired - don't make the mistake of trying to mac address filtering with the wrong MAC. Best to attach to router first with wire and then set up the wireless from there. Lens is manual focus, no zoom.

Other Thoughts: Higher resolution, power over ethernet, or longer power cord option would be nice.
