Cons: Got it for my Mom, she literally cannot access hi-speed internet in West Virginia with the mountain hiding the satellite and no DSL available. I don't have a phone line anymore and could not try it out for her new laptop. I hooked it up to make sure it would get any driver updates then let her head back north. Sure enough it did not work. So many of these things come up with COM 10, or 15 or something. And that just doesn't work with so many of the old dos programs Cons: Thanks so much to the person that mentioned that the system need to have internet to get the drivers. Win7 and Win8 machines found the proper drivers automatically without using the disks (but they may have pulled them off the internet??) Cons: Watch out for brand new PC's with USB3.0 ports. You will have to disable the USB 3.0 features in the system BIOS (even if you are using the designated USB2.0 ports!)
