Pros: I did a search for DisplayPort cables that met a certain set of criteria - 4K support, 144hz, etc. and If I remember, I think there were only two results. This is definitely a great DisplayPort cable and it says it supports 4K, although I'm only using it for 1080p, I still wanted the capability if I'm having to pay for a standalone cable!

Cons: I have no complaints. Nothing bad to say. I mean I guess it could be cheaper, but it's in-line with what these cables cost so it's OK.

Other Thoughts: The company took the extra care to send me an email explaining how important customer service is to them and detailing how to go about taking care of it if any kind of issue were to arise. I like that. It's the kind of think I'd have done if I were still in business.

Pros: I bought 3 cables from a different vendor and did not know about the pin 20 issue of Displayport cables. This cable is compliant with use of computer monitors. If you get one that has the pin 20 issue it will feed voltage back into your videocard/possibly damage it and your motherboard.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: None...if you have problems shutting down your system and just can't shut it down even when depressing the power button for 10 seconds....look at the cables being used if they are display port and look up the pin 20 issue.

Pros: Low cost (high quality) display port

Cons: No tracking info for the order (not really a big problem, unless your way into micro managing.

Other Thoughts: So, many MANY day's ago, I realized that my new GTX 660 (HEY don't judge, it was cheap AND better then my GTX 550 TI) had so many ports that in theory I could run three or four display's. Since I had two at the time, and since I found a pretty cheap 19inch LCD I thought I would give it a try. When the display arrived, I did not expect there to be any Display port cable and I was correct. Now I wasn't all that worried, after all Display ports are somewhat newer and cost more. So I ordered this and when it came, I am now running a 21 inch as well as 2 X 19 LCD's with no issue. I've got a Triple LCD Monitor Desk Mount coming and I'll actually finalize the set up. I really just wanted to see if I could run 3 monitors, and I can. Great deal thank you for the shipment :)

I immediately thought I had a REALLY NICE new monitor just by switching to the DisplayPort cable from a DVI-D cable.

I upgraded from a DVI-D cable that they said supported my monitor (Dell U2713HM at 2560x1440). This is WAY more than an upgrade! It is like getting a REALLY NICE new monitor! The DVI-D cable apparently doesn't handle the full color range at this resolution. My graphics card is a NVidia GTX 760 based card.

Your monitor needs audio out if you want to take advantage of your graphics card's audio. I suggest doing this as it can be much better than the motherboard built-in audio. It can also help with cable management by eliminating the audio cable back to the computer.

The 10' cable really adds versatility to computer placement.
