Other Thoughts: Had this for literally almost a week, computer was not even on and the power came on and off real quick ... a "surge" if you will. All around very good item EXCEPT for critical misrepresentation explained below. Cons: The clamping voltage displayed by Newegg and Belkin is 330V. This is wrong and misleading and is also one of the most critical specs. The clamping voltage on this unit which is molded into the unit is 400V or 500V depending on the scenario. NOT the necessary 330 Volts which is claimed in the product description. This is like selling an automobile with a V8 engine except - whoops - it actually has a 6 cyclinder. Or a more aptly - like a bulletproof kevlar vest that only protects against ping pong balls. Other Thoughts: Belkin and Newegg should correct this error and notify purchasers and offer to replace with a unit that complies with the product description. 7 out of 7 people found this review helpful.
