5 out of 5 eggsRemote switch makes it totally worth the price!!

Pros: Nice layout, easy to connect all different kinds of plugs and power adaptors. Remote has great range, makes for easy switching on/off.

Cons: Only dink I could give this would be that two of the outlets are on a thicker portion of the strip making the height taller and restricting where you can slide this under/into for complete setup.

Other Thoughts: This is perfect for me, having my "network" center in another room from where my main computer resides makes it easy for me to restart my home network (DSL modem, 2 ethernet switches, wireless router, indoor cell booster) without having to shut down my NAS and home DVR network adapter. Makes it very handy to trouble shoot internet/network issues by just shutting the whole system down and rebooting everything. I am sure I can't tell some of you have annoying it is when you call your ISP and the first thing they tell you to do is "power cycle" your home network. This way I can do it in a flash and don't have to move or dig behind any equipment! Excellent product, I like it so much I've purchased a few for gifts for friends who have home networks like I do. Great value too, Of course price is always a factor, you can buy $5 power strips but, to get one with great surge suppression along with a remote power switch is a bargain! As always NewEgg is stellar in order processing and delivery. Can't way enough good things about them in that respect!
Do yourself a favor if you need a dependable, quality surge suppressor along with a nice long cord, angled plug, and a remote power switch, stop looking and order this now!

4 out of 5 eggsGood working Power Strip

Pros: I ordered two of these from newegg.com with RF power strips and both have exalt RF range and work great, and the RF rang is one of the best made.

Cons: The hand held remote Switch Case is junk the RF transmitter light is on all the time, so the Battery runs down in two or three days. So I removed the top of the remote and press the buttons On & Off and the Battery now last for a year.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: Very convenient remote control! Now I don't have to dig behind my desk to cut power to my computer equipment. Also the outlets are spaced quite nicely, better even than the APC branded UPS I had.

Cons: The wall mounting plate doesn't quite hold the remote control as securely as I'd like -- not that it's really necessary to even use it -- and all it took to fix was a slight adjustment of snap tabs with a flat screwdriver.

Also the manual shutoff button on the strip itself, which you have to use if the battery in the remote is dead, is really small and recessed. It'd be difficult to use if one suffers from overlarge fingers.

Other Thoughts: I cannot emphasize enough how much more convenient it is to use than a traditional power strip. The added cost was well worth it in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very handy. Remote has better than expected range. Mount for remote has an adhesive strip so you don't have to make any wholes in the wall to place it.

Cons: Would have preferred that it was 6 always on and 2 switched outlets. Adhesive strip on mount seems to take a while to fully adhere to where you put it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works exactly as advertised. I use it to remotely turn on some lights in my garage with the switch mounted to the wall inside the house.

Cons: Remote seems bigger/clunkier than you might expect.
