Pros: None unless you like the colour

Cons: Useless item, does nothing,

2 out of 5 eggsNot directional enough

Pros: It is an antenna that can be connected to an SMBa connector

Cons: I question whether it is actually giving 9dBi of gain. Not very directional, I performed a basic site survey and would put this at more or 180-220º beam width.

Other Thoughts: I have gotten more directionality out of pringles can.

4 out of 5 eggsNot as directional as hoped

Pros: The antenna is well-made. The mounting brackets are well-made.

Cons: This antenna is not as directional as I had hoped. Read the specifications closely and do the math.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a marginally directional high-gain antenna then this will suit you. If you are looking for a very directional antenna for a point-to-point application you are probably better off with a Yagi or Parabolic.

1 out of 5 eggsWorse than supplied 2Db antenna

Pros: can't really think of any

Cons: I removed 1 2 Db antenna from my router and replaced with this. It is directional - you can aim it right at the laptop 100 ft away - outdoors and get the same 2 bars you would receive from a 2Db omni-directional antenna. Total waste of money.

5 out of 5 eggsIt helped

Pros: Well made, mounting options, low loss cable of decent length.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Purchased this antenna to try to improve my reception and signal strength at my shop which is 600 ft from the router. Went from no reception except on cool clear days to two bars everyday. Speed is not great (1mbs)but I have a solid connection without having to setup a bridge which would have cost a minimum of 4 times as much as the antenna.
