Pros: The set has a broad selection of knives - almost too many
The balance of the knives is very good
The handles are very comfortable and ergonomic, and the color is an added plus
Quality is excellent
The block is actually quite nice and is perfect knife storage and ease of access

Cons: Came with a corner of the plastic handle on the sharpening rod broken off. Had to return the whole set, but set was replaced promptly.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend to and purchase this set for someone else

Cons: Picture shows a small cutting board and what appears to be some type of small cutter to go with it. i did not receive either item with my order. I will be contacting newegg. I give it 3 stars b/c the block and knife portion of the order is great.
