5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Gigabyte motherboards are very good in general. I've built two PC's and Gygabyte is know for reliability. They work well out of the box... I'm up and running fast with Gygabyte.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsVery good 1156 board

Pros: Inexpensive, all the features I needed, good board layout, easy overclocking, worked right out of the box with bios that shipped with it. Raid setup file was on install disk and worked easily.

Cons: Sata connectors are 90 degrees to the board.

Other Thoughts: I5-750, 4 GB Gskill Trident 2000, Corsair 650 PS, Gigabyte GTS 250, 2 WD 640 Black in Raid 0, Lian PC-K7.
I have not OCed over 3.2 but it is very stable and cool at that speed with Windows 7.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: 14 USB outlets and many SATA outlets.

Cons: the top of the IO panel doesn't line up all the way and tilt a bit so the board is a little bended.

Other Thoughts: it comes with 5.1 audio outlets but I think most people if they cared that much about audio they would buy a dedicated audio card.

it shows a floppy drive even when there's no floppy drive.

5 out of 5 eggsBest i5 board for SLI

Pros: Has 8x + 8x crossfire support with space in between so that 2 double slot cards will have good airflow. I put in two sticks of DDR3 2000 and the XMP profile worked perfectly. Overclocked my core i5 with ease. I could go on and on in the PRO's section.

Cons: PCI express slots are not both 16x?

5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte makes good motherboards.

Pros: the p55-ud4p mobo from Gigabyte is a fine motherboard. Everything works fine, right out of the box, and so i just run it with my i5 750 Intel cpu on all stock settings. It works great and does everything anyone would want from a motherboard, especially with a new socket, platform and chipset by Intel. This is a fine board.

Cons: No cons against the p55-ud4p board.

Other Thoughts: this uses turbo mode as a subset of speedstep, so the multipliers are regulated constantly (i use it on stock settings.) Also, the c1e enhanced halt state, and it's c3/c6/c7-state friend, work together to offer advanced halt states for power saving and sleep modes, so if u don't use it much, it stays very low key in power use, which is so smooth and quiet too. byw, i had an evga p55 sli board (655?), and it stinks compared to this board by Gigabyte. Newegg rocks on this p55 stuff, for sure.

1 out of 5 eggsD.O.A.

Pros: Yet to be experienced!

Cons: Board was DOA!

Other Thoughts: CPU socket was defective with several pins protruding way above the rest. When seating the processor the pins folded over adjecent pins. Did an RMA reefund and ordered another identical board so we shall see. First experience with bad product from Newegg or Gigabyte!

5 out of 5 eggsTops for Lynnfield

Pros: Paired this with an i860 at 4Ghz @1.28V Prime stable. I have a Zalman CNPS 10X to keep it nice and cool. Running GSkill Trident RAM (PC16000) and couldn't be happier. Nice BIOS options, and mobo stays nice & cool plus stable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Trident Ram has to be placed in 2nd & 4th slot due to Zalman cooler.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA - Power Bounces

Pros: Looked good on paper and had everything I wanted in a MOBO.

Cons: Beware, it's two 2 PCI-X 16. But one PCI-Express X16 runs at x16 (PCIEX16) and the other runs at x8 (PCIEX8) (owners manual page 8 & 10).

Seems to be DOA, it powers up for 1/2 second, then shuts down for a seconds, then back on for a secound. It just keeps repeating the same thing. Tried two different power supplies and got the same results, very dissapoinging.

Other Thoughts: I looked at all the boards and this one looked great on paper. I think I'll switch to an ASUS MOBO.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a champ

Pros: Works like it is suppose to. I like all the SATA ports is has.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Mounted this in a Zalman HD 160 Plus case with a HIS 4850 512 video card and an i5-750 CPU. Everything worked great together out of the box.
