5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It runs well and quite fast. I usually have a lot of usb devices, having all of the usb ports in the back is wonderful. The onboard graphics are really good if you aren't going to be getting an actual one for a while. I went about 4 months before I got mine.

Cons: I can't really think of any, I guess the metal plate for the back of the tower was a slight pain for installing but other then that not really.

Other Thoughts: (Not actually pertaining to the motherboard) When installing the Central Processing Unit (CPU) make sure there is Thermal Paste on it otherwise you will fry the motherboard like I did my first time.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: Bought this for a work computer. There was no plastic wrap or sticker sealing the box. I opened it up and all the CPU pins were bent in opposite positions. Immediately sent it back.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on Arrival

Pros: It looks nice.

Cons: Dead on arrival, bent pins.

Other Thoughts: Looking at some of the other posts I'm astonished to find it's not just me with the issue on the pins, I don't know what to say.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. ASRock mainboards are fully tested to assure that they're working before shipped. The CPU socket on the mainboard has been covered with the protection CAP to avoid damage the pins during the shipping and should not be removed unless intend to install a CPU. The CPU socket pins on the mainboard are fragile and need to be handling with careful to avoid physical damage. We appreciate your purchase and review. If you have any technical questions or warranty issues in the future please contact us at user@ASRockamerica.com

3 out of 5 eggsRotten Egg

Pros: Three eggs for the manufacture

Cons: I got this board installed the processer and it would shut down on reboot.I contacted newegg for an RMA,the first thing I checked for before I sent it back was to see if I had accidently bent a pin and no not a one.Newegg got the board and told me it had bent pins,I have been building computers since the days Pentium II's were hot and have no problem confessing up if I make a mistake, but I think this one was Neweggs mistake. And if
They cant serve their customers better than that they are no better than the Tiger

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The CPU socket pins on the mainboard are fragile and need to be handling with carefully. In addition, the CPU socket is covered with the cap to avoid damage the pins and should not be removed until installing a CPU.

1 out of 5 eggsSucks Newegg.com

Pros: none

Cons: DOA initially.

Like another Customer, Justin, Exactly, newegg.com insisted "damage to CPU socket contact pins that are bent beyond repair which was possibly caused due to improper installation and or customer neglect." Nothing more than Justin's case to me.

But, I could not see any damage from the moderboard before they resent an email with the statement above.

I believe and sware "The testers for M/B return was doing really bad testing or they intentionally break motherboard pins or make it bent, and report to IT WAS DAMAGED WHEN OPEN IT FROM RMA REQUEST."

Be faithful, newegg.com!!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sorry to hear the mainboard's CPU socket pins are bent. The CPU socket pins on the mainboard are fragile and need to be handling with carefully. 1 out of 5 eggsWorked for a week, sent in for RMA and Newegg damaged the board.

Pros: Worked for a week.

Cons: Died after a week. After sending it back to Newegg for RMA, they claim "damage to CPU socket contact pins that are bent beyond repair which was possibly caused due to improper installation and or customer neglect." I don't see how this is possible seeing how it worked for a week. I'm 100% careful with all my PC components and I would know if I damaged pins. If I can't get my money back from Newegg this will be the last time I ever order anything from you all again. I order ALL my PC parts through you all and this is how you treat your customers?

Manufacturer Response:

Dear AsRock Customer
