4 out of 5 eggsOverheating issues

Pros: great performance, love the hd, got two to run extended screens. can pull great graphics on any game i play.

Cons: seems to over heat easily, even when i'm not cross firing, or duel screening. even tried just running one card. i suggest if you plan to get these, look into liquid cooling because fans just don't cut it.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you get software to monitor your temperatures as you test them out. sounds like these have a rep for overheating.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING

Pros: Upgraded from a pair of factory OC'd 4850's from sapphire to a pair of these, My PC runs about 8 degrees cooler, while adding 25-30 fps on most games. Also 8 and 6 pin connectors are on the back rather then the side making it easier, at least in my case full tower case, for my psu cables to reach.

Cons: Really haven't came across any, I did OC them a bit and after a while, several hours, i noticed some artifacting in games. That I can not hold against the cards considering without over-clocking I haven't played a game on them that i cannot run at FULL settings and resolution.

Other Thoughts: I do not have an eyefinity set up so I have no personal knowledge of that functionality, but my coworker picked up a set of these to run eyefinity and has shown me video of the setup, and I was blown away by just the video of it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great performance -vs- price ratio. I bought three and run them in tri-crossfire. Power plugs are at the end of the card and not along the top of the card so that cables can be run straight through motherboard tray cut outs. $30 rebate from Asus. I received all my rebates.

Cons: Only one DVI port.

Other Thoughts: When will video card manufacturers make cards without heatsinks for those of us that watercool? It reduces cost, and since most of us void warranties anyway, why not sell them without one?

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Upgraded to this back in December and the card runs great. Notably, the cooler on it is quite effective and there's a lot of OC potential.

Recently purchased a second one for CrossfireX as I'm building a new system, I'm rather excited to see how that works out but even as a single card it's excellent.

Cons: None, great performance, a great cooler and a great price.

Other Thoughts: I paid way too much for it when I bought the first card, although that's really my own gosh darn fault. CrossfireX may also not be worth it until I get a second monitor, but that all depends on how well the game scales with Crossfire.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy it. Buy it right now!

Pros: Great card! Fit in my Antec 900 (barely) and runs beautifuly. Ate Crysis 2 for breakfast, then had a double helping of some complex SolidWorks models for desert.

Cons: Had to remove a fan mount for my HDD cage (which I wasn't using anyway). But, power cables do come out the end, so they do occupy one HDD slot.

Other Thoughts: Looks amazing. I love the look of this card, too bad the sweet heatsink shroud points down where I can't see it. :'(

1 out of 5 eggsDOA, (un)known issue?

Pros: N/A

Cons: Ordered two of these so far, I think I'm not going to try for a third. I'd hate to blame the card but that is the only option that I can see, several other members have also reviewed that these cards can come and have come dead on arrival right out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Is there some issue with these cards with untested hardware or something? Two in a row with the exact same issue is bizarre..

Newegg; smooth RMA process.

1 out of 5 eggsterrible

Pros: i had great fps

Cons: i installed it and right when i opened up any sort of game the driver would become unresponsive uninstalled the drivers multiple times and reinstalled same problem took the card out sent it to asus for them to "fix" it got it back 2 weeks later take out my old video card and install it get all excited and the problem is still there i don't know if its a driver issue or a video card issue but this is no longer worth my time i guess i'll chop it up to a waste of money and use my 4850

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Near 5870 performance for less money.
Quality ASUS build.

I figured I'd try to bring it to its knees -- Loaded Rift and set all advanced graphics sliders to maximum. Game ran smooth at about 30-50 fps.
With more reasonable settings (Rift lets you enable some stuff no one should actually need), the game runs steady at 60fps with VSync enabled.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Ordered this all from Newegg, couldn't be more pleased:

Asus P8P67 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-2500k CPU
Asus EAH5850 Radeon HD 5850 Video Card
8 GB Patriot G Series DDR3 1600 RAM
Crucial C300 128Gb SSD
Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W Power Supply
InWin Ironclad full tower case
