5 out of 5 eggsSmooth as silk

Pros: This card runs almost silent.
It makes you think size does matter.
Maxed out graphics...nuff said

Cons: Probably best to have a good size tower.
It would have been nice to get it for free...

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Just rebuilt my machine with MSI gaming 7 mb and this card. I usually pinch my pennies and go for the *60 (or *60 ti) cards but I decided to just go for the 770 this time. I'm psyched. It looks great in the machine. Matte black and red with Ferrari looking logo matches mb beautifully, really slick design. I've installed all the graphically intensive games I own just to see how it goes. FarCry 3 full settings, runs great. Witcher 2 full, runs great. Crysis 3 not all the way but close, getting around 47 fps. Metro Last Light was a little different, runs 60fps at full if I leave off the advanced PhysX, but if I turn it on then it drops to 17 - 20. Apparently you need a second card to handle JUST the PhysX, seems like a poor optimization to me. But other than that, everythings running great, gorgeous and keeping cool in my system.
Really glad I went for the 770, and really glad I went for the MSI. Looks great, runs great.

Cons: None I can think of, enjoying this card.

5 out of 5 eggsReview

Pros: Has great performance and runs very cool compared to my somewhat dated GTX 560. For example, GW2 ran at 70C with low/med settings, but I can run high settings at around 50C.

Cons: Not that I've experienced so far.

Other Thoughts: There is a plastic cover on the MSI logo inbetween the fans. I'd remove it just in case.

The fans are somewhat audible at around 2000 RPM, but my case is right next to me with both panels off, so I'm sure it won't even be noticeable once I put my case back together.

Pros: Box looks cool on my desk.

Cons: None at this moment.

Other Thoughts: This is a prior-review, meaning I have not opened the product yet. I will finish this review once I have built my system and tested the product.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card!

Pros: Went from my trusty old 9800 GTX 512Mb to this guy and what a jump! Can play all my new games maxed out or close to max because of the extra VRAM that my 9800 was bottlenecking. (skyrim, FFXIV ARR, diablo III, Assassins Creed IV Black flag and Watch dogs) And runs So much cooler than my 9800 as well and quitter as well.

Cons: Have a coil wine when running benchmarks like 3D Mark in DX9 and 10 due to extremely high FPS but just playing normal games and FPS lock to 60 don't hear it at all and runs smooth as butter.

Other Thoughts: I really need to upgrade my PC still running a Q6600 and DDR2 800 Mhz RAM (CPU OC from 2.4 to 2.99 and RAM is 800 to 836) When that happens I don't know but I will really see this thing shine when I do.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: its a good looking card in the machine.

Cons: Mine arrived DOA, Fans would spin but that was it tried multiple different solutions but to no avail.

Other Thoughts: Waiting for my RMA which stinks because i am staring at a 1500 dollar paperweight until my new gpu comes in. When i do receive it i will give an honest review on performance.

2 out of 5 eggsVery good video but Hdmi port feels loose

Pros: I bought this to play World of Warcraft and few other older games on maximum detail settings and it does that. I paired this with a I5 Haswell processor. It has done great with the performance part.

Cons: The HDMI port on the card feels so loose. It actually feels like it is bending when you push a hdmi cable into the socket. If you leave your tower out in the open sometimes and someone trips over the hdmi cable plugged into this video card, the port would probably lose connection with the board. I have'nt tried the other ports but the hdmi port was loose from day one and i worry about how long it will last because it was over 300 dollars. I think the ports should feel a little stronger, especially when they advertise it as military grade, whats the points if it is military grade when the wear and tear area where the hdmi cable plugs in feels like it will last 3 months.

Other Thoughts: I like how the graphics run smooth but i worry this cards hdmi port will not last because of how it bends around when you plug in a cable. Not sure of the other ports because i did not try. Not sure if it all cards like this or just mine. So if someone else has this issue it would be good to know. Thanks.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card once you get a good batch

Pros: Ease of overclocking with MSI Afteburner software but it does maxed out at 1200Mhz core clock before 3dMark Firestrike push it back to default clock speed.
Quiet fans with very fast cooling down of board.
Doing great FPS on all games I play.

Cons: RMAed the first card I received due to coil whine. Newegg RMA saved the rating higher due to fast response and got a second card within 4 days.
PCIe connector is somewhat obstructed by the heatsink coil.
Cosmetic wise I would love a metal shielding on one side of the card and a better design than just a wording MSI on the top side.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This made my gaming experience so much better and it works 100 percent. nuff said

Cons: This card is very big

Other Thoughts: This card kicks around my old Geforce GTX 560. The GTX 770 dwarfs the 560 in size and weight. When I opened the shipping box I could not believe the size of the video card box and when I took the card out it was huge and I was very afraid it would not fit in my case but it did.

3 out of 5 eggsSeemingly Great Card

Pros: Specs are great, OC this thing even more and you have yourself a 200 dollar less GTX 780. Well, with varying results in different games because it's overclocking. Just to match the FPS performance, really.

Cons: I spent well over 10 hours straight getting this thing to work. I plugged it in and my motherboard failed to even go to the post before the BIOS screen. It was stuck at a frozen cursor with a B2 at the bottom right. I tried so many things to get it to work. AND THE ONLY THING THAT WILL FIX THIS ISSUE IS TO INSTALL THIS CARD ON A NEWER MOTHERBOARD, AND FLASH IT'S BIOS TO THE LASTEST OFF OF MSI. I had to put this into my brother's PC that I just finished building so I could spend a good 8 hours trying to flash the flipping BIOS. Finally got it to work after learning how to do all that dammed jazz. It seems to be working now, I haven't played any games yet because it's 4am right now. Will update the review once I've played with the overclocking and video games.

Other Thoughts: I really wish I didn't have to spend my entire day and sleeping hours to get this card to let me boot past my BIOS menu. But I'm excited it's working none the less. If anyone else has this same issue I can try walking through what I did.
