4 out of 5 eggsFirst Nvidia

Pros: The size of this card is very reasonable for the performance it gives, this is by no means a behemoth. Runs cool and quite. Runs all my games at highest settings (Black ops, cod 4, BFBC2, etc). I am not familiar with Nvidia or Evga so only time will tell what the quality of these cards it. Over all pleased with the purchase.

Cons: Does not come with SLI connectors..Whattttttt??? What kind of company ships their higher end cards without an Sli connector.

Other Thoughts: Well there is one thing perplexing me, my windows experience score has not gone up at all in windows Aero, the gpu score is the same as it was with a HD 4870? but the games look and play much better so iam happy.

4 out of 5 eggsReally Nice Card

Pros: Nice size, much smaller that my old GTX 8800. Fits easily in my Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Case.

Runs Battlefield 3 Beta smooth as butter. Should get even better with the full version release.

Nvidia had a BF3 specific driver that loaded right up and ran nicely.

Love this card. Wanting to SLI a pair but will wait until their not $300!

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsQuality Card

Pros: -Runs well under pressure
-Easily handles modern graphics at ultra-settings in recent games such as BF3 and Skyrim.
-30C Idle, <50C under load for hours of gaming.
-No issue with graphics lag or stuttering.
-No issues under continued heavy or normal use.
-Inexpensive for its capabilities and qualities.

Cons: -Isn't free.
-Didn't arrive at my front door moments after ordering.

Other Thoughts: I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment, but I decided that I absolutely needed to upgrade from my hand-me-down 9800 GTX+. I wanted a good-performance and durable card that would SLI well, since I planned on having 3-way SLI in the future. From what I can tell from the reviews here, the specs, and my continued use of the 570, this card was the perfect choice for a quality price.

I would highly recommend this card for any avid gamers/poor college students like myself, especially if they plan to SLI in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card/DOA/missed rebate

Pros: Great running card. Runs everything full settings.

Cons: First one was DOA and took out my board with 3 hard drives.
The first one had lines running through the screen then 10 seconds later poof, smoked rolled out from my case and that was that. first time a card every fried other items.

Other Thoughts: Sent the card back and EVGA sent me replacement asap, so I can not argue about that. I understand bad parts do make it through so no biggie. Just wish it had not taken out my board and my drives.

Missed out on the rebate because my card was being RMA' Had to knock a egg for first DOA. overall great running card.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent cards

Pros: Excellent performance

Stays nice and cool

Quiet

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace two aging 8800GT cards I had running in SLI. This one card has a massive performance increase over two of the older 8800GTs. I went from 20 - 30 fps in Bad Company 2 running 1200x800 with everything set to medium to 60-70 fps at 1920x1200 with every setting maxed out.

Temps are also great. Was used to running 50 - 60C at idle. Now I barely get above 40C at idle and around 65C under load.

Fan is also fairly quiet. I can now hear it running most of the time. Even under full load it is not bad.

For those running CUDA apps, this card is great. I use it in Adobe Premiere and it is a massive help when rending effects and previews. Went from several minutes of rendering effects and previews using a Q6600 to pretty much realtime rendering.

Will be adding a second one into my system next month. I can't imagine the 580 working much better than this.

5 out of 5 eggsMuch needed upgrade

Pros: Much needed upgrade from an ATI Radeon HD5750. Can actually play all of my games now, including Battlefield 3 at high settings (on high population multiplayer I have to tweak a little down, but thats no big deal). Installed easily, got a cool sticker thing, and have been enjoying my pretty games ever since.

Cons: I cannot play games in fullscreen anymore. I don't terribly mind windowed mode, but Skyrim just feels awkward since I cannot using sizing handles to adjust the size of the window. 1404 AD I don't mind having windowed, and Battlefield 3 / League of Legends I can maximize so it fills to my taskbar. I don't think it's my monitor since my old graphics card didn't do this. It's a SONY Bravia TV, which is likely why, but I don't see why that should make a difference with just clicking fullscreen, I can do the same resolutions for both fullscreen/windows and fullscreen is the only one that has an issue with it.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad price for what I was getting into. Hopefully it will last me a while, next upgrade is going to be more expensive when I do Motherboard/CPU and RAM.

5 out of 5 eggssuperb card

Pros: one thing that had been turning me off from alot of nvidia cards was the fact i dont see many with hdmi ports. not the case for this card. the hdmi port aswell as both dvi ports are very sturdy and dont seem cheaply made. card stays rather cool and quiet at roughly 40-50% fan power id say right in the 40-50c range idle to gaming. evga's precision tuner is one of the simplest overclocking tools ive seen. this is a small card that packs a big punch. i went from scoring in the 1000-1200 fps area to the 2000-2200fps range on novabench which was pleasing.
also you get a sweet little carbon fiber case badge... who doesnt like carbon fiber?

Cons: havent found one yet

Other Thoughts: comes with 2 molex to 6pin adaptors as well as the drivers disk

5 out of 5 eggsReview for FS9 and FSX Gamers

Pros: Runs about 10-15C cooler than previous PNY 465. Super fine rendering in gaming. An increase of about 15-20FPS.

Cons: $$$$$$$

Other Thoughts: This review is strictly for FS9 and FSX users. I bought this card to replace my Nvidia PNY 465. I chose EVGA because they seemed to be the best rated card I could find. Was considering the Nvidia 480 but reviews said this card ran cooler and used less power. Also Passmark rated it a wee bit faster.

I'm comparing this card to the Nvidia 465 and using Microsoft Flight Simulator as a gauge because it's the only game I play. Anyway, everyone knows FSX is a resource hog and using my Nvidia 465 I could get frame rates of about 22-25 with all setting set to maximum with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. Turning off ambient lighting and ground shadows increased FPS to 33-35. Turning off airplane traffic raised that to well in the 40’s. Because I’m a fps fanatic, I wanted to play the game with ALL sliders set to max and a minimum of 30fps. I was hoping my new card could do that.

I’m happy to say that my new card is not only much sharper, but I get around 30-40fps (depending
