Get to the next level with the EVGA GeForce GTX 670. This card delivers truly game-changing performance that taps into the powerful new GeForce architecture to redefine smooth, seamless, lifelike gaming. It offers some newest features to redefine the way you think about performance graphics cards. Expect more from your graphics card than just state-of-the-art features and technology; get a faster, smoother and richer gaming experience with the EVGA GeForce GTX 670.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card...terrible shipping

Pros: -EVGA. I have only ever purchased their cards since my start with Nvidia (GeForce 2) and I have never been let down.
-4gb VRAM I especially needed this for my 1600p Dell u3011
-Handles everything I throw at it
:: Bought a 2nd for SLi. Crysis 3 runs @ ~45fps Ultra settings with 2xMSAA with dips down to 33fps. Don't really need much AA with such a HiRes monitor. BF3 averages 100fps ultra settings @1600p

Cons: -Cost. I bought my first card back in October '12 for $460. Paid $450 for the new one recently. Was gonna wait longer but seeing some epic games coming out soon and I just couldn't wait any longer.
-NEWEGG!!!! This has been my last and final purchase at newegg. I have been through this site since the beginning and it pains me to seek elsewhere. Ontrac shipping service is by far the worst I have EVER had to deal with. Leaving well over $1000 worth in parts at my apartment door in the rain where just any shmuck can come by and take it. Upon repeated complaints and requests for them to drop it at the office (like UPS does) they refuse to do any better. Boxes are horribly mishandled as well. I was EXTREMELY lucky to receive my items. I asked Newegg to have a freedom of choice. I would pay EXTRA for UPS but they refused so in turn, I refuse newegg. This deeply saddens me.

Other Thoughts: The shipping debacle isn't just singularly prevalent on newegg either. Many other sites have been slowly taking direct control of shipping methods which I find greatly displeasing. If I am going to pay for a parcel service, I believe I deserve the right to select who (which it used to be).

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 670, It just works

Pros: Like every other review has said, this GTX 670 works, & works well. I've had it for a good little while, & quite happy with it. I’m a big gamer & 3D sculptor, & there isn't much I can do to slow this thing down. So far, Crisis 3 is the only thing that I’ve noticed anything like micro stuttering with, but it’s few & far between with everything on ultra & max AA, but that’s just being ultra-picky. I upgraded from a GTX 660 SC that had fried out on me, & I’m glad that I decided to get the upgrade. All things considered, its a good 20-30% performance increase (taking in the fact I might have had a bad card to begin with, but it still worked like I needed it to while it lived).

Cons: The card runs warmer that I would like it to, but it really isn’t anything to gripe about. The highest I hit is ~78C. My house stays at about 26C, and the idle isn’t much more than that. The fan stays relatively quiet under a full load. You have to manually pump up the fan over 55% before it starts go get noisy. & I wouldn’t use precision x to overclock. There are compatibility issues with a lot of games; at least that I have seen. But again it’s really nothing to complain about. Awesome performance so far, making it worth what I paid ($439.99).

Other Thoughts: Overall I am looking to get a least one more, if not two for the same system, even if two alone is overkill for, well anything. Water cooling my system is a thought for a later date, if at all. EVGA's blower style cooling works quite well as long as you have decent airflow for it to.

System as of now:
i7 3770K OC@ 4.5ghz
GTX 670 SC+ (actually kept at default)
GIGABYTE z77x-UD5H mobo
16GB 1600 ram
240GB mSATA SSD (system drive)
2x sATA III 2TB 7200rpm HDD

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: 4GB,simple desing, super performance and excellent control panel and drivers

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I play mostly flight sims and with my old 5850 I had mediocre performance (15-25fps on medium settings) on Cliffs of Dover, with this GPU Im getting constant 60fps with max settings and at last the AA works.I have had awful experiences with ATI drivers so thats one of the reasons I changed sides.Plus the control panel on Nvidia is a lot more friendly and all the feautures work, unlike the red side.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I was a little wary of buying a card with a reference cooler, but under a 100% load burn test for over an hour, I topped out at ~78C, which is well below what the card can handle.

Gaming-wise, this card is ridiculous. Paired with my i7 3770k, it will run any game on max settings at over 100 frames per second. Everything is smooth and every detail is crisp. No lag, no stuttering, and no sacrificing graphics for performance.

Gaming on a single 1680x1050 monitor with another 1680x1050 for everything else, it plays stock minecraft at over 400 frames per second, Bioshock Infinite at over 100 frames per second, and stays cool.

I think this card would be great for anyone that does game reviews, let's plays, etc. It is powerful enough to run a game at full detail while recording.

Cons: Wasn't cheap.

4 out of 5 eggsIncredible Card.

Pros: Insanely fast and incredibly overclock capable.

Cons: Mine didn't have ANY thermal compound between the GPU chip and the heatsink. It was constantly hitting 98C. I had to take it apart and put some Arctic Silver 5 on it.

Other Thoughts: Once you get the heatsink sorted out and overclock it, this thing is faster than a 680! I got 1202 on Heaven DX11 Benchmark 3.0 with max settings. It never goes above 65C. I'm very impressed with the speed, capability, and durability of this chip and card. Very disappointed I had to put my own thermal paste in it to get it to run properly.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!

Pros: It runs crysis 3 at full settings. So it will run any game.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: does run a little hot, but its not enough to worry about it. just make sure you have good air flow in your case and you will be fine.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I've had one of these for a while now, and it's been amazing. It can handle whatever I throw at it.

Cons: I recently purchased a second card, but it failed. Hopefully the replacement works as intended.

Other Thoughts: Wish the second one worked.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless GPU

Pros: Let me start out with how amazing of an upgrade this card provided me, coming from a 550 ti.

-plays all my games at 60 fps (with adaptive vsynch) on Ultra / High (Far Cry 3, BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Batman AC, ect.)
-stays incredibly cool, especially considering my poor fan setup (I currently only have 1 case fan, so the only moving air comes from the 1 case fan, cpu heatsink fan, and the blower style fan on this gpu
-incredibly sleek looking

Cons: anything I can say negatively, was not enough for me to subtract an egg for because it really wasn't a fault of the card per se, but just wanted to give you a heads up

-coming from a GTX 550 ti, after installing the new GPU it would not recognize it immediately. Had to wipe all GPU related drivers and update my mobo bios, because it would not natively register the new card

-they didn't accidentally send me an extra one?

Other Thoughts: overall, this is an amazing card. the backplate really helps for keeping temps down, and the overall performance of the card is staggering.

do yourself a favor, and purchase this card.
