The PNY GeForce GTX 660 XLR8 not only extends the NVIDIA Kepler-powered family of graphics cards to new levels of affordability but also retains class-leading performance and power efficiency. It's the weapon of choice for gamers and a must-have upgrade for today's hottest games. The PNY GeForce GTX 660 XLR8 graphics card represents the Kepler "sweet spot" for gamers—the ultimate combination of performance, power efficiency, and affordability.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA AntiAliasing Antialiasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new antialiasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsepic card!!!

Pros: This card is awesome!
-blower style cooler which is great for cases with little airflow.
-Only $189, buy two of these and blow a GTX 770 out of the water!
-Lifetime warranty

I got an average of 68.1 FPS on Unigen Heaven with two of these cards in SLI config. I had the program running maxed out settings at 1440x900 (current monitor at the time) with an Intel i5 3570 at stock clock, 8gbs of Corsair Vengance ram 1600, and windows 8.

Now with these cards, I have the best build out of all of my friends. getting a solid 60 fps on my heavily modded skyrim REALLY makes 2 of these worth the investment. hope to get 2 more before they go out of stock.

Cons: generally plain design, no cool letters on the top or anything (PNY GTX 660) which look cool in a side panel.

can't think of anything else.

Other Thoughts: this card is just 10" long by the way. little cases beware!

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible coil whine

Pros: The card output video after installed, and was shipped very quickly.

Cons: The coil whine was so bad that I am returning the card for a refund.

Other Thoughts: One star for basic function for the card, and one star for Newegg awesomeness.

4 out of 5 eggsBig ol' Video Card

Pros: Works marvelously, SLI ready.

Cons: A little big and heavy. Tends to cover up other PCI slots and SATA connections on my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Probably should have got a larger motherboard if this is the norm for video cards these days.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Plays every game maxed out at 60 fps when in sli. Single card everything on high 60fps with aa. Gets a score of 2550 in 3d mark 11.

Cons: Heat but I'm very picky. Top card runs 70c and bottom card 60c.

Other Thoughts: I'm using an i3 4130, 7gb ram, 650w psu, and 2 660s. The i3 WILL NOT BOTTLENECK THESE CARDS IN SLI. I get about 2 more fps when I use my i5 with these cards on bf4 and many other games.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card, bad fan

Pros: GTX660 is hard to beat. Had a 30 dollar rebate which makes the price/performance a now brainer.

Cons: I sent my first card back to them with a noisy fan. The bearings or something was bad. PNY had it for 10 days in the RMA process. When I recieved it back, they had sent me a new card in the retail box. The fan on the new one is louder than the one that I had just sent to RMA.

Im not to happy about it, but I dont want to send them my card again and be without a PC for 10 days.

Other Thoughts: Should have bought an eVGA, or Gigabyte.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Quiet

Pros: Runs Quiet to point I wasn't sure it was on

Cons: Size

Other Thoughts: Handles Assassins Creed 4 on high settings easily, and still could not hear the fan running after an hour+ of gameplay.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat's not to like?

Pros: Runs SLI well, default fan speed settings are quiet, solid price/performance.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used one of these for months and was very happy with my 1920x1200 performance. But I did the 4770K system build and snagged a 2560x1600 monitor and, well... I debated doing a GTX780, but instead just bought a second identical PNY GTX660. Zip zoom zing, the SLI configuration is fast and keeps my 4M pixels updating speedily. Faster than a 770 and it'll definitely give a 780 a run for its money.

The default fan settings do seem to aim for quiet over cool, which is fine with me. The hotter of the two cards will hit 80C when things are busy. If I tweak the fan settings with MSI Afterburner I can shave 10C off the temps easily, at the cost of a few dB of noise. I think 80C is ok (NVIDIA says 97C is the max allowed) so I'll take quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Well the price. I did notice some reviews said the cad gets loud under load I ran Skyrim on Ultra setting for about 2 hours and well it never got too loud. but it is a blower style cooler so if you want a quite copmuter this card is not for you.

Cons: Have not found any as of yet but i have owned PNY products befor and never had a problem before.
