2 out of 5 eggsDon't buy

Pros: Cheaper than all other cards.

Cons: I bought two of these cards. They have both had overheating issues.
I sent in two rebates for both cards following PNY guidelines for rebates. They denied it saying I did not send in a receipt of purchase when I did.

Overall bad card unless you liquid cool it and PNY is a terrible company in my eyes. Denied a legitimate claim and won't help with overheating cards.

would not buy anything PNY again.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Same as listed in previous review

Cons: Newegg not allowing edits to previously posted reviews. I mean really, every other review site in existence allows you to edit or at least append your reviews.

Other Thoughts: Regarding my results from overclock on air - the Boost speed was 1210 MHz and not 1111 MHz:

This card overclocked pretty well, I managed a rock solid +100 on the GPU and +150 on the Memory using EVGA Precision X software (106 power, 90 temp). This resulted in a Boost speed of 1210 MHz while cool and ~1050 MHz while gaming (stock fan profile).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid build quality (Palit Jetstream)
Excellent performance
Effective cooling solution
Relatively Good Value

Cons: Somewhat loud fans at idle
Loud fans at load
Heatsink replacement/removal voids warranty

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card to upgrade from a EVGA GTX Titan SC.
My intent was to find a solid card with the intent of installing a waterblock in the near future. After much research it became apparent that the performance of the GTX 780 Ti cards are all very similar using the stock BIOS, the difference usually revolving around the performance of the heatsinks and their ability to keep the card in Boost as much as possible. I've never owned PNY products so when this card showed up on sale I did the research. It turns out that this is a Palit Jetstream that has been rebranded for the North American market. The Palit got great reviews and is a respected brand so I had no problems giving this a try at only $629.99 with sale price + MIR + discount code.

This card is installed in a Silverstone TJ-09 case optimized for silence with 6 Noiseblocker 120mm fans and 3 radiators. That case has a mid-case mounted 120mm fan running ~1100rpm blowing directly on the graphics card. It sits next to my TV around 9 feet from my sitting position.

First thing I noticed after I installed it was that the idle fan noise is considerably louder than the EGA Titan with reference cooler. It's not just the dBA, it's the tone/motor noise. Not ideal for a silence freek like myself. The default idle fan speed is set at 48% and can't be lowered without a modified BIOS. I'd take off a half egg rating for that.

The performance is solid though, with a boost clock of 1111 MHz while running cool. When it heats up though the sustained gpu speed is more around 980 MHz.
It didn't seem to go over 72 C while playing games or running Valley 1.0. The fan noise is pretty loud at that temp, up over 75% and easily the loudest thing in my room and as loud or louder than the EVGA Titan.

This card overclocked pretty well, I managed a rock solid +100 on the GPU and +150 on the Memory using EVGA Precision X software (106 power, 90 temp). This resulted in a Boost speed of 1111 MHz while cool and ~1050 while gaming (stock fan profile). The overvoltage had no effect on overclock or stability so I left that at stock settings.

I then installed a EK Jetstream waterblock and added a fourth radiator to my system. With that config I managed a +180 on the GPU and maintained the +150 on Memory. With those settings the Boost is now 1290 MHz and stays there. Running any game for hours or Valley 1.0 the max temp is 43-44 C and it never drops out of Boost mode and is completely silent :-)

Note: installing the waterblock required removing the "do not tamper" stickers over the screws, apparently PNY doesn't support heatsink TIM replacement or waterblock installs. Just something to keep in mind.

Overall I give this card a solid 4.5 eggs for build quality, performance and value. (.5 eggs off for noisy fans, especially at idle)

5 out of 5 eggsPNY GTX 780 TI OC

Pros: Fast, runs cool, very quiet. Very solid built. It has high resolution 3800x2400, runs four monitors at the same time at max settings. The best in the market. Life time warranty.

Cons: Price, but you get what you pay for. Not good to SLI with existing cooler.

Other Thoughts: PNY is by far the best company for all computer parts. Solid and durable construction. I had nothing but good luck with everything PNY. This company sets the standard and example of how the computer components should be build. If you want troubles free parts LOOK ONLY PNY. SO BUY TIS CARD AND YOU WILL THANK ME FOR ADVISE. GOOD LUCK!!!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent 780 Ti

Pros: The card works just as described, and handles the factory overclocks with zero problems or issues. Also, the card looks great, and is built like a tank. The cooling solution is superb, and is very quiet. The card consistently idles below 28C, and the max temp I have observed so far is around 50-55C. For the price, you won't find a better built GTX 780 Ti.

Cons: No cons, I just think that people should pay more attention to what they are purchasing. The photos of the card clearly show that the card takes up three slots, even though it is not in the physical description, therefore you should not leave a negative review based on YOUR mistake.

Other Thoughts: I also have a M*S*I* GTX 780 Ti which I purchased first, and even though it is a great card, I now wish I would have gotten this card first., because I would really love owning two of these beauties.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card but wish I didn't go PNY

Pros: GTX 780 TI is the best Nvidia Video Card you can get right now on NewEgg.

Cons: I bought two of these cards thinking they'd fit nicely in my case occupying a total of 4 Expansion Slots (2 slots per card).

Unfortunately the stock fans that come with these cards hogs up 3 Expansion slots, so all 6 expansion slots for my large Thermaltake Level 10GT Case were now hogged up.

In the end I had to install a second custom water cooling loop in my case with two EK VGA Blocks which cost me $1,200 and a few hours of work. This allowed me to regain the lost space with three expansion slots now available (of which two will soon be occupied by a third of these)

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this card, go with EVGA as they occupy the standard two expansion slots in the case.
