5 out of 5 eggsIncredible!

Pros: Great proformance, i am running guild wars 2 on max at around 60 fps all the time, same with PSO2, quiet enough, runs cool. For the $165 i spent, even if i don't get the rebate it would have been worth it, this is all you need, in the future i plan on adding another one to go real crazy ;)

Cons: The only con i have is that it is BIG, 10.4 inches, CHECK THE SIZE OF YOUR CASE! I didn't measure my case and it barely fits i got lucky that i didn't have to do any case modding.

1 out of 5 eggsnot working and not doa

Pros: cool looking

Cons: Second one does not post, has no beep codes it`s properly seeded and has the 6 pin connecters properly in there, fans run but it will not post. plug in the 8600gt and it runs without issues. Bios updated, chipset updated still nothing i am at my witts end trying to figure out what to do here.

Other Thoughts: Pretty disappointed i don`t think the cards doa, my mother board is compatible with the card so i`m not sure what to do here.

4 out of 5 eggsYou Learn Something New Every Day

Pros: When I first ordered the XFX DD HD-6870 I thought I had done my research pretty well. I was sure to stay within my price range of $200 and was going to run 3 24" monitors and a 48" HDTV with it. From what I had read it was fully capable and It was.

Cons: But with most things there is a down-side. These companies make you believe that you can run these monitors/HDTVs with the interface of your choice but this is not true. In order to use anything over two monitors you MUST purchase the Super Expensive Display-port Cables. This a gross abuse of trust in my opinion. I was going to take off 2 eggs but I really do love this card.

Other Thoughts: You can't just blame XFX. ALL companies are doing this. I bet you 99% of people aren't aware of this problem until they purchase the cards only to learn you must spend another $200+ dollars in cable. It's not right and it must be fixed. If I had it to redo I would buy a card with all display ports so that I wouldn't have to deal with the hours of head scratching and frustration.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb!

Pros: Works like a champ. Running it for a couple years on games like SC2, Skyrim, and D3 and I get to always set it to highest graphics settings. I am more than satisfied with my purchase. A little glitchy (seldom) on D3, but troubleshooting leads me to believe it is not the module.

Cons: The software is kind of confusing, but after reading the manual a little bit I can find my way around.

Other Thoughts: I am not running CrossFire, just the one module.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Really good card and it's not as wide as it's predecessors. So far I've ran Starcraft 2 on it with an average of 72 FPS on ultra settings with the GPU clock cranked up to 950MHz. The AMD software that came with the card is also very good and it enables you to overclock the card if you want.

Cons: Mine didn't come with a crossfire bridge, was it suppose to???

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME video card

Pros: -Runs cool (~40°C idle, and 75°C while gaming) My cooling is the greatest either. I have a PCI wireless adapter in front of one of the fans. (It blocks about half of one of the fans.)

-Can play pretty much anything. I play Skyrim with 2k HD Textures, realistic lighting, and 15 other mods that really stress GPUs in 1920x1080. This is like playing Skyrim on Ultra settings x2, and it still runs flawlessly.

-It's a big card, but can still fit into a Micro ATX case.

-It looks MONSTROUSLY AWESOME.

-Fan is quiet, unless it's on 100% (It won't do that unless you're running something like FurMark)

-Came with Dirt 3 (which was a piece of cake to receive)

Cons: -I honestly can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: -The rebate process is slow, but hell it's free money.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card, super quiet

Pros: 2 fans, super quiet, great performance, was on sale, and came with rebate

Cons: NA

Other Thoughts: requires (2) 6 Pin power connections.
requires 500w power supply; but 600w+ is recommended.

great upgrade from amd radeon hd 5770. the 6870 runs much cooler!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It runs a few games well.

Cons: Im running two of these in crossfire and have nothing but problems.

Each game has its own issue.
Lots of games are simply Unplayable: Iron brigade, Darksiders II, Dungeons.
while others constantly glitch: Skyrim, Tribes accend

The issue could be something simple that I've overlooked but the fact that i cant get any support makes these cards useless.

I posted on the support forum asking for help on the 15th and haven't gotten any useful advice on how to fix my problems
