5 out of 5 eggsOC like a boss

Pros: Great OC potential, currently running at clock 1200, memory 1400, 1.225v runs very cool. Used asus cpu weak for OC. I have been able to play Tombraider, Blackops, skyrim, far cry 3 max settings.

Cons: could not OC any higher than above numbers though without artifacts

Other Thoughts: Looking forward to future proofing by adding another one of these in crossfire.

5 out of 5 eggsComplete Satisfaction

Pros: Does everything your looking for it to do wether it be running multiple monitors or running the latest titles at highest graphic settings maintaining 45-50 FPS and 60+ on some titles. The cooling is absolute. with GPUs like this it is best to also have great cooling in your tower for overclocks.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: definitely gonna reffer it to my AMD friends and definitely gonna purchase another for Crossfire.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Card!

Pros: Everything!
- Looks beautiful
- Runs everything I throw at it High-Ultra, no problem.
- Overclocks like a beast. Currently at 1100 core and 1400 mem on stock voltage.
- STAYS VERY COOL. Even at these overclocked settings, I haven't gone over 55 even after 6+ hours of gaming.
- Bioshock: Infinite and Tomb Raider came with it. Can't beat a deal like that.
- Price is incredibly low for what you are getting.

Cons: I wouldn't really call this a con, but the Iturbo software HIS provides is... well, extremely ugly. Coming from using EVGA precision, this program just needs a massive visual overhaul. Yeah, it can overclock higher than 1050mhz core (the only reason I use it), but c'mon. I looks like it's put together with low quality JPEG images. Not going to knock an egg off for it though.

Other Thoughts: This is my first ATI gpu. I have always bought Nvidia. While browsing the web for a new GPU to replace my GT240 I found this gem. And wow, I'm glad I did. This card handles EVERYTHING I throw at it. Overclocks EXTREMELY well. I will definitely be picking up another one of these or at least another ATI down the road for Crossfire.

3 out of 5 eggsEhh. Its ok.

Pros: Excellent video quality. I rate this unit a bit over average as it relies so heavily on its cooling fan.

Cons: Keep an eye on the fan, without it cooling properly it will run hot... Even with such a massive heatsink.

Other Thoughts: First one had a fan problem and overheated shutting down the entire works for safety (good). I later discovered it was due to a defective fan. Now, working in retail for many years I know my customers would never allow me to charge them the difference between my original sale price and a new warranty replacement unit. Especially after spending extra on the extended warranty.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good card. Will run most games at a high fps. HiS' iTurbo app is easy to use.

Cons: not too many.

Other Thoughts: Fan can get kind of noisy, but it provides excellent cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price

Pros: I got it for around $120 with the rebate and it greatly outperforms my previous GTS250.
It runs really cool in spite of my bad ventilation
Runs everything I've thrown at it at max settings with great FPS except for The Witcher 2 when ubersampling is turned on.

Cons: rebate service took a while to get through.
6pin power plug could be in a better spot, it's on the side pointing towards the harddrives so if there were less space, I wouldn't be able to plug the power into it

Other Thoughts: This really does run everything currently out at max settings but apparently, ubersampling makes everyone lag.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Price to Power Ratio

Pros: *Installed easily from the GPU its self to the AMD software. I didn't use the cd's, I downloaded all drivers directly from the AMD website so I am sure I get the latest ones. Who knows how long the CD has been sitting in the box or if its outdated.

*This single card is more powerful then my previous setup of Dual GTX 550ti's in SLI. It auto sets most of my games to maximum and I have no tearing or stuttering.

*I played Skyrim on the auto-setting of maximum and the card never went above 52c in my set up after an hour of playing. I also use HD texture mods, many of them.

*Fan is default at 20% speed and I don't even hear it. When it gets to about 50, I have to manually set it to that, I can hear it slightly. Very quiet compared to my Nvidia cards that sounded like a leaf blower.

*The card is very light and does not sag or put strain on my PCI slot.

Cons: *Nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you delete EVERYTHING Nvidia if you used one previously. I had an issue where my Windows 7 Areo effect and color scheme would not work due to Nvidia and AMD graphic drivers conflicting. It was my fault because I was in a hurry to try out my new card so its not a con, just a heads up!

*Rosewill Challenger Case
*Radeon HD 7850 HIS IceQ X
*AMD Phenom ii X4 970 3.5Ghz
*Corsair AX 850 Gold
*Asus Sabertooth 990 FX
*600gb WD Velociraptor
*500gb WD Green
