5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Runs cool and quite.
Great looking card with the backplate.
Runs Arma 3 not at the highest setting but I'm happy with being able to run it with some setting as Ultra.
Runs the other games I play like I want.

Cons: Had a trouble with the second monitor not showing correct color (blue tint). I was using a DVI to VGA addaptor that I used my other card without problem. Contacted tech support and they suggested I switch cables and if that didn't work RMA for to get a different card because the VGA/DVI port could be bad. I switched to a DVI cable and that corrected the color issue.

Other Thoughts: I would recommed this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGot it on sale, in love

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Powerful, sleek looking, runs REALLY cool!

Cons: Isn't a GTX Titan L-M-A-O

Other Thoughts: I've had Zotac Cards before, and I've only had a problem with a low-end GPU fan once. This GTX 960 is fantastic, it runs exceptionally cool, and has excellent performance.
I am using this card in tandem with a Corsair CX500 Watt PSU, it runs flawlessly

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, good looking, and powerful.

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Supremely quiet
No thermal throttling at all
Shorter PCB for smaller builds is super handy

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The price per performance of the 960 is excellent and this ZOTAC model is really well built and has some great features like being able to shut down the fans under a certain temperature to lower noise. Highly recommended for the price!

3 out of 5 eggsWas pretty good.

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: - Powerful
- Affordable
- Cool Design
- Extended Warranty
- 4 GB

Cons: - Wasn't running games very well. Had around 20 FPS for Rust and H1Z1; not sure why

- Both HDMI and and VGA ports randomly stopped working after a month

- Unheard of company

Other Thoughts: It worked without issues but after a month of use, the ports stopped working and my monitor was unable to detect the card. The monitor kept losing signal and kept going in and out of power save mode forcing the whole pc to restart. I had to send it back to Zotac in California and they had to run tests on it; was kind of a hassle, cause of shipping cost. Took almost a week but a replacement is being sent out today. Turns out it was the card. Overall? Quite a hassle, but pretty good customer service.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for your purchase of our GTX 960. We are glad we were able to resolve your issues by going through our RMA process and hope you will have many hours of happy gaming.

Sincerely,

ZOTAC

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Quiet, cool, can play gta v at 3072x1280 with fairly high setting (not maxed) and get average 43fps and it's cheap. Just sold my 970 reference card for fear of the price drop after the 10 series come out and I thought I would just fill in with a 960 for a while but this card is awesome I flashed the bios and she runs steady at 1552mhz and have had it at 1608 but thought that a bit much. never crashed or anything. Definately a tweakers card although works well enough out of the box.

Cons: 8 pin power adapter requires either a y cable or two separate 12v 6 pin plugs, luckily I had'em but it could be an issue for some if you don't have two available 6 pin power plugs as you'll need to buy an adapter or do some soldering.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend you get this card and I'm thinking about maybe just going sli instead of 980ti or whatever after the price drop.

1 out of 5 eggsGot 2. Neither would work in a PCI-E 16X 3.0 slot. Returning.

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Fans turn off is temps and demand are low enough?

Cons: My ASUS P9X79-E wouldn't post with this card in any of it's PCI x16 slots. If I put just one in the x8 slot, it would boot. BIOS fully updated didn't make a difference. My old cards (a pair of XFX 9800 GTX's) work perfectly in the exact same slots. I have an 850w PSU so power wasn't an issue. Zotac tech support is non-existant. They don't even have a phone number to call within the USA. When I called their international number, it went to voicemail. They have not yet responded to my request on their website either.

Other Thoughts: Who knows, maybe my motherboard is at fault. I know that ASUS answered my call and at least tried to help me troubleshoot. With Zotac, I might as well have asked a a unicorn for help. No contact.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi William,

Your cards should be detected in the PCI-E 16 slot. Please try a clean install of your video card drivers by 1) use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove your old drivers 2) install the drivers from NVIDIA's website.

For further assistance, please contact our US Customer Support by calling 877-599-6822 Mon - Fri 9AM - 6PM, via Live Chat at www.zotac.com/support, or be emailing support.us@zotac.com.

Sincerely,

ZOTAC

4 out of 5 eggsSmall, packs a huge punch

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Fit easily into a mid tower case. Uses one 8 pin power connector, comes with an adapter to connect to two 6-pin PCI-X connections to make one 8 pin.

Cons: Nothing so far.

Other Thoughts: Runs my games on High and Ultra settings at 90-120 fps out of the box. Card is even smaller than I thought it would be. Runs quiet. I'll update as I put it through its paces, but so far I'm happy. A massive upgrade from a 2GB R9 270.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite a value!

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: * It looks cool? I mean, I know it'll be in the case and all, but still. Very snazzy card design.
* It does what it says it'll do - process video for rendering on my screen.
* Probably has not committed any war crimes, but I just bought the card so I don't know for sure.

Cons: * A little loud.
* Despite numerous requests, this card has yet to find the Higgs Boson. Honestly, I'm running out of patience in that department.

Other Thoughts: Card's not a bad value for the money. It ain't a Titan, but it also doesn't carry the Titan's price tag. Got it mainly to upgrade my experience with the Elite: Dangerous video game - card works very well for it; able to run full-on high settings at 60fps now. Also, once the missus found out Zoltac made the card, she has periodically popped into my office doing the "Zoltan!" handsign from "Dude, Where's My Car?" So, I'm very pleased with the added entertainment value there.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Purchase

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 960 4G

Pros: Plug in and go...nice thick backplate..fast as hell... Haven't played anything at 1080P that I can't max out.. That being said I dont play a whole bunch of different games.(but BF4 ultra and Advanced Warfare with everything cranked up except the shadow and sun cache runs super smooth).. Heaven Benchmarks this at about 80 fps with extreme tesselation.. I've not seen the temps reach 80C even with my Overclock settings of +180 core clock and +150 mem)...Really dig this card

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Buy it
