5 out of 5 eggsThis Thing Rocks!

Pros: This MP3 player has amazing sound, countless features, endless settings, and the GUI is so intuitive that no manual is needed. The online manual is, however, very good, covering the unit and it's software in great detail. All this in a tiny, lightweight, clip-on device with unusually long 25 hour play time on a single charge.

Cons: The earbuds as always could be better, but the ones included sound pretty good. Another $10-$20 invested in some better headphones will really bring out the sound...

Other Thoughts: These stand-alone MP3 players have all but become extinct, what with the proliferation of smart phones, but I prefer these...for one thing, you won't kill your phone battery if you play your music all day on one of these. It also sounds better than most phones. It has pre-gain settings adjustable up to +12dB to compensate for low volume recordings.
