5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I bought it for my Mac Pro (release 2010) that has PCIe and it worked with just installing the card without doing anything else.
I had searched for a USB card for my Mac and the site said I needed a PCI type card but Apple switched to PCIe on the Mac Pro (2010) the one before that are PCI.

Cons: None so far...

Other Thoughts: This card cost a little more but it worth it to be able to just install it and have it work. Plus I bought a cheaper card and it didn't work. I didn't buy this card from Newegg but I do buy most of my stuff from them. They ship the items out very fast.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: I have a Mac Pro. This card worked right out of the box. I did not need to install anything, and the speed was close to USB 2.0 standard. I use it for an array of external USB drives, and it works fine.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Construction seems to be good.

Cons: Installed the card and it does work at slow sppeds for my external hard drives but they are much faster plugged into another USB port. My Epson printer will not work (says it is printing) when plugged into the card but does work when plugged in another slot. I don't believe the driver is sufficent for Vista 64bit.

4 out of 5 eggsPricey, but work perfectly in Mac Pro

Pros: I tried similar cards from a different vendor that claimed Mac OS X support and they didn't work well. These however work flawlessly in a Mac Pro.

Cons: Not the cheapest cards around.

Other Thoughts: Sometimes you get what you pay for...
