5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product, Great Price

Pros: Extremely Sturdy
Does exactly what they say it will
Simple instructions
Looks great holding 2 24" monitors

I've been pricing a lot of multi-monitor supports while doing a new PC build, wanted to have a dual display setup again. Ordered Friday morning, UPS had it delivered Monday morning. Mounted monitors after I attached the mount to my desk, Set the angle I wanted and tightened down the specified nut. So far they're at the same angle I put them at and will not move when I try to adjust the angle. I understand that some may have a possible machining flaw, but mine works flawlessly. Would reccomend to anyone.

Cons: I've only had it one day, so far absolutely no cons.

2 out of 5 eggsLooks good, can't hold weight

Pros: Looks good, feels sturdy overall. Fairly easy to install.

Cons: Can not hold 22lbs, or even close. Not recommended for screens over 23". Larger/heavier screens just tilt to face straight down.

Also, I had to customize the VESA spacers (little plastic bits) to fit my screen as it was between the two options (too short for bare screws, too long for screws with spacers).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy to set up
Very sturdy
Ultra flexible
Feels more expensive than it is
Arrived when it said it would

It's having no problem with holding my monitors up, keeping them in position, or sticking to my desk. I have my monitors at a 120 degree angle from one another, but it could easily adjust to pretty much any angle, even beyond side by side (i.e. >180 degrees). The mount is holding 2 27" LG monitors (Item#: N82E16824025041), and I have no worry that these things are going to fall. If you've got anything smaller than that, you're set.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The screws attaching it to the desk are longer than I expected (about 4"), which limited where I could screw it to my desk. That's not a complaint, it's just something to be aware of if you're considering purchasing.

I think someone else wrote it'd be a good idea to attach the monitors before mounting them to the rod, and that was good advice. This is different than the order the instructions tell you to do it, but I think it was the way to go. It was a little awkward putting the arms on the support rod (I had my wife tighten the arms to the support rod while I held the monitors), but I doubt it was any more awkward than trying to hold onto a monitor while attaching the VESA plate. Just my opinion though. Great monitor mount.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but...

Pros: Does exactly what I need it to

Cons: Some of the bolts are really tight, there is still one that I can't get loose and will need to take the time to unmount it and put it in a vise or something to break the bolt free so the arms can move... on another one I had to stand on the thing and use all my body weight to break it free.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, for the price

Pros: Price
Sturdy
Build Quality appears good, we'll see how it wears over time

Cons: Configuration of arms is somewhat limited.
Depth may be a concern if you desk is deep
Mounting Monitors is tricky, better ask a friend to help

Other Thoughts: For under fifty bucks, this is an outstanding purchase. My monitors are off my desk and I have really cleaned up the look and usability of my desk. Not as great as the spring loaded multi-directional arms, but priced right for what they are.

1 out of 5 eggsPoorly made.

Pros: Nice, clean design.

Cons: Cannot support monitors weighing 20 lbs. even though that is under the weight limit in the specifications. My monitors are currently facing straight down at the top of my desk. Also, the bolt holding one of the arms to the center is tightened so tight as to be unmovable and the arm is at an angle that is not useful at all. Furthermore, I had to take te center section apart in order to fit it over the center post because the plastic inside was preventing the post from going through. Great idea, poorly executed.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Install

Pros: Solid desk clamp, not going to wear out.
Beefy arms, not going to bend or jiggle under weight or vibration.
Multiple horizontal joints.

Cons: Tilt adjust lock on the difficult side after install.

Other Thoughts: If you are not using two identical monitors the vertical center between the two may not line up. Don't go over 24" wide. If your workstation is against a wall then making mechanical adjustments with the two tools, (wrench/Allen Key) may be difficult after the initial setup especially locking or adjusting the vertical tilt. After setup this will require either moving the desk or reaching over the top of the monitor.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's sturdy and inexpensive. Everything works exactly like you would expect it do.

Cons: I wouldn't try putting anything beyond 24" on this mount. It could definitely handle the weight, but I could only angle my two 23" monitors inward at about a 20* angle.

Other Thoughts: The two arms are fixed at the same height, but you knew that already. It just makes rotating one of the displays sideways slightly cumbersome if they have to sit lower. Moving two monitors to rotate one is always worse than just moving one monitor. Bah, oh well. I don't mind.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing stand for the price - top notch customer support

Pros: Cost. Construction. Ease of set-up. Adjust-ability. Support from Vivo.

Cons: Silver screws with all black hardware

Other Thoughts: For the price you simply can't find anything to complain about with this stand. Full set-up took me like 30 minutes (supporting two Acer K272HULbmiidp's without issue, one of them in portrait mode). It's fully articulated and I can't see a situation where you couldn't adjust to your liking with monitors in a supported size. If you're not going portrait mode I bet you could even fit larger monitors than specified..... Once you tighten the joints it stays put. I don't know that they'll be super friendly for people that fiddle with their display positioning as they are not a friction fit that offers adjustment - but _maybe_ if you leave them "just loose enough" you can get some play for positioning without droop....

The material is sturdy, any weld points are perfectly smooth. and the powder coat finish is nearly flawless save one small edge on one of the monitor mounts.
Provided cable management and arm joint caps make for a super-clean install.

If I had to find something to complain about it would be that the included mounting screws are silver when all else is black - but that's incredibly minor.

I did have an issue - Vivo has chosen to ship with the cable management clips already in place on the monitor arms (but oddly not on the upright). They are merely plastic, and the pieces don't come with any sort of package padding (really not required). One of the clips was broken. I figured I would take a chance and email Vivo explaining the issue. Within FIVE MINUTES I got an email response telling me that a new set would be in the mail Monday (I emailed at 5:00 on a Friday no less). That's pretty awesome service.

The price point on this mount is unbelievable - when I saw the price of this -vs- the similar models from other vendors my expectations were not high - I can't imagine that any other model would be better - because this thing is awesome. For this price I am seriously thinking of grabbing another before someone catches on and doubles the cost.
