1 out of 5 eggsNot a good deal

Pros: Great product

Cons: For the same price, you can buy this TV new on Vizio's website.

Other Thoughts: I use this as a computer gaming monitor. It is great, I purchased mine new direct from Vizio for the same price as this refurb.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat TV shoddy refurb

Pros: This TV has fantastic clarity, the color is amazing and the refresh is flawless. The sound is a little weak, but that is nothing new with modern TVs.

Cons: My cons are purely with the refurbishing of this TV. My TV appears to have brown specs under the screen. They are not dead pixels and they are not all over, just a few scattered. While they are annoying, they only detract from the image if I happen to remember they are there. However, the fact that this TV was shipped with visible defects causes me to call into question all the quality control practices at Vizio.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap and works

Pros: Easy Netflix button, nice clear screen, lightweight, Easy setup, Smart, HD, Cheap, no dead pixels, thin

Cons: When I received the TV, it had some gross looking residue on the outside that looked to be from stickers or something. I was expecting some light cosmetic flaws like scratches but the gummy adhesive was not it. Some carefully placed lemon Pledge and patience and I got most of it off. Also, I am in the process of mounting this to a wall and I am not overly impressed with the mount location on the TV. For the size, I was expecting more support and larger holes.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my parents. It was priced right and although I am not a Vizio guy, it exceeded most of my expectations for a low end refurb. I only give it 4/5 because of the residue on the outside of the screen.

4 out of 5 eggsNice value buy

Pros: + 1080p (full HD)
+ 120Hz (twice the standard refresh rate of computer monitors)
+ 32" (nice size for short - about 2 meters - view distance)
+ ethernet and wifi (didn't feel like routing another cable so the wifi was a welcome option)
+ 3 HDMI inputs (enough for computer + 2 game consoles)
+ EnergyStar (power efficiency)

Cons: - entering text by clicking around an on-screen letter selection (not even in QWERTY arrangement) is an annoying but brief exercise during setup
- refurbished means short warranty period, but that's to be expected and I'm not really that concerned anyway

Other Thoughts: I haven't yet connected this to my computer but I don't anticipate any problems doing so. It is currently only connected to wifi and my OUYA game console. I don't watch broadcast TV so I wasn't worried about connecting an antenna. If/when I start streaming TV shows or playing movies on it, that's what the connection to the PC will be for later on.

Would be nice if the remote had some sort of letter keys (or a 2nd remote for this purpose) but connecting a keyboard by USB is a simple matter I didn't bother to try. I'd probably give this product 5 eggs if they'd just also included BlueTooth connectivity into the build.

3 out of 5 eggsexcellent picture, trash functionality

Pros: great 1080p picture
120Hz refresh
sleek design

Cons: television has weak IR sensors to handle remote control input
power button doubles as input button, if you dont hold it for exactly a second, it switches input device instead of powering down

Other Thoughts: I use this as a computer monitor for gaming. everything works well for that. the remote and power button on the television are really irritating to use.
