Charges OK without having to discharge completely. Cons: none Other Thoughts: The reason these "Pros" is that a previous battery purchase did not work well, and this one does! (I did not realize I had a problem with previous purchase until I realized that the battery would not recharge until the charge level was ZERO. Took off two eggs for inaccurate specs, that caused me time and money for having to send back. Cons: This battery will fit a pavilion DV4, DV5 and a CQ40. It is not going to fit in a DV6 for sure.
