Pros: Direct fit, Battery held a good charge initially

Cons: Capacity diminished quicker than expected (comparing to Apple battery), battery expanded/exploded while in laptop (~ battery two years old). Nothing leaked out, but we had to pry it out of the laptop.

Pros: It worked for a couple months I guess

Cons: This battery is supposed to hold charge for 5600mAh. My macbook says charge capacity is 4078mAh. Cycle count is at 187, although since the capacity is significantly diminished, I have to charge more often. I wish I had checked into it earlier than now so that I could have pinpointed when the battery started to fail more accurately. I get 90 mins per charge which is unacceptable. Don't wast your money.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this. I think it worked for a couple months, long enough to extend past the return window. It seemed like an ok deal at first, but this battery is no good, just pay the extra for the OEM part, or at least shop elsewhere for a replacement battery.

Pros: Looks like a high quality product. Worked great for one month. Newegg customer service is great.

Cons: No longer working after one month. Battery not detected by laptop. Old laptop battery still works. Difficult time dealing with warranty request and the company is requesting "special' order numbers to look up the product which they say you have to have Newegg contact them first to get. I feel like I am getting the run around.

Pros: Lighter than original battery.

Cons: I have had battery for almost a week, I can literally watch the percentage drop with minimal usage of the Macbook, (i.e. just letting it sit and not doing any tasks with no applications open) and nothing plugged into any USB ports.

Other Thoughts: I've read other reviews of letting it die and recharge a dozen or so times before you get full performance of battery. Never heard of having to do that before. I'll give it a few more days then attempt a replacement to see if I just got a bad battery. Other than my issue of it not holding a charge very long, the battery fit perfectly into my macbook and it has the LED indicators on the bottom just as the factory one does.

Pros: charges fast and holds a charge long. It fits just like the original battery.

Cons: The only issue although minor is that the foot on the bottom is thicker than the other 3 on the bottom of my MacBook and I had to shave it down to level it .

Other Thoughts: it fits the late 2008 MacBook 13"

Pros: This was purchased to replace an original early 2009 macbook, whose battery was getting tired. After calibrating, the battery is functioning just fine, getting about 3-4 hours of use before charging is needed. The oem was lasting about 2, and they cost about $125 from Apple. Although people are leery using a third party battery, I felt confident because I've already had a battery by this manufacturer before in a Windows laptop, and that one was light years ahead of the original, I used that one for over 2 years without a glitch, I'm confident I will get the same service from this one. Just make sure you follow apples calibration technique, which can be found on Apple forum pages, very easy to do, and helps the battery talk to the MacBook. I

Other Thoughts: Great battery, fits perfectly, works as advertised with the oem charger. Just make sure to calibrate first.

Pros: Works as advertised.
Fits perfectly into my 2008 Macbook.
Holds battery charge just as my new battery did.

Cons: None yet.

Pros: Easy to install and fits perfectly into my daughters 13" macbook (which is about six years old).

Cons: Would not charge with her original charger. I had to use my new macbook pro charger, which worked great.

Other Thoughts: The instructions state to charge twelve hours, then fully drain and recharge 4-5 times. Seems to work fine.
