3 out of 5 eggsOkay short term PSU

Pros: The modular form factor of this PSU is pretty good, and it is very quiet during the 0 to 20% stage.

Cons: After about a year and a half I started experiencing my computer randomly shutting off. After doing a full cleaning I suspected it was my stock heat sink causing an overheating and shutting off the computer. After spending 6 months researching this issue, I happened to read the reviews here on newegg. Turns out, I'm not the only one having this issue.

Just for future reference to anyone else. Watch out for your computer shutting off randomly. There is not a way to reproduce this issue.

Other Thoughts: Besides this constant and annoying issue, it's been a great, quiet product. I wouldn't expect this issue from an 80PLUS Gold unit, but you never know.

5 out of 5 eggsRan for about 2-3 years and died

Pros: Ran for 2-3 years and died. Many powercycled and tons of gaming. Corsair was awesome (7 year warranty) and sent me a brand new one that has been running ever since.

Cons: Other than it dying after 2-3 years none.

Other Thoughts: Bought another for my new build, this one is going in my wifes PC to replace a cheap enermax

5 out of 5 eggsLove NewEgg Customer Support!!!

Pros: Works well, very quiet. its a corsair so its built well.

Cons: another owner stated 8 pin to MoBo was too short to run behind case. I had the same issue. all cables hidden except that one. its too short to run behind the case, but long enough to hide around the edge of the most viewable part of the case. not really a con, unless you have a windowed case and want everything hidden.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great power supply. Modular except the main 24 pin cable and 8 pin for the motherboard. Nice bag to put extra cables in.

Cons: Cable length on 8pin connector to motherboard didn't reach when trying to hide cables through the back side of the case. Not a huge complaint, but now I have a thick cable running through my case and everything else is hidden. I have a mid case if you are wondering the size. I have 7 fans in my case and this power supply only comes with female molex connectors. If you need addition 4 or 3 pin male connectors, best buy extra cables.

Other Thoughts: Would have received 5 eggs if my cons weren't there.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU for the Price

Pros: Best bang for your buck for a 750w Gold level PSU.
One thing I really like and appreciated were the extra cables that came with it. So many PCI-E cables that you will have them for the rest of your life. Also, the dust free bag that the PSU was contained in was a very nice touch. Corsair does it again.

Cons: None so far. Compared to other PSU's I have had, this is a homerun.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This PSU is rock solid. Quiet, stable, well-built.
After having inferior power supplies wreck previous computers, the reliability and accuracy of this unit is worth every penny.

Cons: I guess the relatively high cost of these units could be considered a con by parsimonious shoppers, but I don't think this is an overpriced unit... buy cheap, buy twice.
