1 out of 5 eggsDead in 2 Months

Pros: Sadly, none.

Cons: The product was finicky at first, but I wasn't certain the Power Supply caused the issues. After a month and a half, conveniently after the return grace period ended, the Power Supply fully died. Not happy. Do not buy.

Other Thoughts: I wish it would have broken while I could still return it. $150 dollars is one expensive brick/door stop

1 out of 5 eggsDon't purchase this PSU

Pros: It worked.

Cons: It only worked for 4 months and then it blew up. My computer was on idle and it just died out of no where. For a PSU to die after 4 months that's terrible and I won't be purchasing another corsair PSU

Other Thoughts: Terrible. They need to offer refunds for their products instead of offering a replacement. Who would want a replacement on a product that didn't work after 4 months.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PSU I've ever bought

Pros: Everything. It's just fantastic.

Cons: None (believe me there isn't any...)

Other Thoughts: It's a Corsair so it's kinda self-explanatory. Very reliable and hold much quality. This is a great PSU, trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Read the reviews from professionals. Hardware Secrets and JonnyGURU both rated these PSUs very highly for a reason.

Personally I can say that this unit has been running perfectly fine since 2013 in a moderately high end gaming system that has been upgraded along the way. The unit stay cool and makes no excessive noise/coil whine.

I can't speak to ripple since I lack that gear, but it delivers accurate and stable voltages under all load ranges I tried. The fan bearing appears to be orientation agnostic, which is definitely a good thing.

Cons: There's pretty much nothing to put here. I wish the HX750i was around when I made this purchase, but it wasn't. Not exactly a dealbreaker.

Other Thoughts: The whole kit comes with nice storage bags for your excess cables and whatnot so you don't misplace them, which is a nice touch.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay short term PSU

Pros: The modular form factor of this PSU is pretty good, and it is very quiet during the 0 to 20% stage.

Cons: After about a year and a half I started experiencing my computer randomly shutting off. After doing a full cleaning I suspected it was my stock heat sink causing an overheating and shutting off the computer. After spending 6 months researching this issue, I happened to read the reviews here on newegg. Turns out, I'm not the only one having this issue.

Just for future reference to anyone else. Watch out for your computer shutting off randomly. There is not a way to reproduce this issue.

Other Thoughts: Besides this constant and annoying issue, it's been a great, quiet product. I wouldn't expect this issue from an 80PLUS Gold unit, but you never know.

5 out of 5 eggsRan for about 2-3 years and died

Pros: Ran for 2-3 years and died. Many powercycled and tons of gaming. Corsair was awesome (7 year warranty) and sent me a brand new one that has been running ever since.

Cons: Other than it dying after 2-3 years none.

Other Thoughts: Bought another for my new build, this one is going in my wifes PC to replace a cheap enermax

5 out of 5 eggsLove NewEgg Customer Support!!!

Pros: Works well, very quiet. its a corsair so its built well.

Cons: another owner stated 8 pin to MoBo was too short to run behind case. I had the same issue. all cables hidden except that one. its too short to run behind the case, but long enough to hide around the edge of the most viewable part of the case. not really a con, unless you have a windowed case and want everything hidden.
