5 out of 5 eggsgreat psu

Pros: smaller than i expected. great cable length, plenty of connections. extremely quiet. single 60-amp 12-volt rail. 5 year warranty.

Cons: the velvet bag does not contain the answers to the mysteries of the universe

Other Thoughts: well worth the price and plenty of power for a typical gaming rig. i research like crazy before making any purchase for my builds - and this psu was the one that stood out from the crowd.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality Power Supply

Pros: Cables are nice and long so there is no need for extension cables inside Corsair 600T mid tower case.

Components inside are high quality and it provides plenty of power for what I'm running.
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
Processor: Intel i5-2500k
RAM: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB
Video Card: EVGA 560Ti video card
Hard Drive: Western Digital Black 1.5TB
SSD: Corsair 60GB Force3 (Caching)

There are four 6+2 pin PCIe connectors allowing for SLI.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I can't stress enough to purchase a quality power supply when you build a new PC. I have seen many times that people try to go cheap on this an it bites them. This is the one device that connects to everything in your PC, why would you want to do that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: Quiet , High Quality internals , 5 year warranty , Plenty long cables for bottom mounted cases , 4 -8pin PCI-e connectors , 8 pin CPU connector ,comes with a nice bag to put your odds and ends in . Single 12volt rail @62 amps ,so no wondering which cable to hook to what to spead your power out over multiple 12 volt rails .Stable power 12v-5v-3.3v never fluctuates under any load my system can put on it !

Cons: Maybe ....the price ! (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for in a power supply ! And if there is 2 places you should never skimp or cheap out on when building a PC it's your Power supply and your Motherboard , the two are the very most important things for a reliable machine . If your building a computer that gonna need some juice to run than buy this thing and your off to a solid foundation for your build !

My Build :
Motherboard: ASRock 890FX Deluxe 3
Proccesor: AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHz 125W @4.0GHz
Heatsink and Fan: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus
VideoCard:SAPPHIRE 100314-2SR Radeon HD 6870 1GB
RAM:(2x) G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB 2 x 2GB 1600 (PC3 12800) F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL 4 dimms for 8GB total
Hard Drives: 2 x Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB (Raid 0)
Power Supply: (THIS ONE)CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W

Bottom line is this , buy this and get the peace of mind of having a high quality power supply with added security of the 5 year warranty !

1 out of 5 eggsFan doesn't work

Pros: Nice sheaths on the cables, but that's pretty standard on high end PSUs. All the plugs go in easy. It's weighty, very weighty, which is generally a good sign.

Cons: Fan doesn't work. I didn't notice until, when playing a more graphically intense game, the computer started loudly buzzing. It sounded a bit like a motherboard error beep, but nothing was going wrong on the screen. Turns out this PSU just has a dead fan that likes to sing the song of its people when it gets a heavier power load. I tabbed out of the game and the buzz stopped, tabbed back in and it started right back up.

Other Thoughts: A broken fan in a high end PSU is just unacceptable. I've bought hundreds of the lowest end fans possible and I've barely ever had a dud. A dud in an internal unit like this that forces me to return the entire thing, that's just silly. Where's the quality control? At least it didn't fry, but still.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: For the current rate 109.99 and then 99.99 anyone looking at this comment right now, is a smart dude. This is a smart buy. $99.99 for a very quality product. I have had it for a year now and play games all day long, 30 hours a week. I've done numerous voltage tests(tweaking my config) and this performs great.

This comes with a power switch, some batteries do not.

Cons: No cons at all!

5 out of 5 eggsEpic PSU 100% Goodness

Pros: Great looking

Long cables for up and over CPU & Mobo Connections

(Plenty of length to route the CPU&Mobo power cables behind the motherboard tray in a bottom PSU mount case)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: One of the very best options for a high end gaming system

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Very nice power supply plenty of connections and they are nice and long. The black fabric sheathing on the leads is a nice touch and prevents your case from stripping the wires.

Cons: I bought this PSU for my first PC build and it worked on arrival. about 6 months after I got it the PSU started to act up and die. I called Corsair and they had me RMA the PSU. Their customer service is superb and I had my replacement PSU in under a week.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother excellent product from Corsair

Pros: Reasonable price and it just plain works.
Plenty of connectors

Cons: It's not modular...but it that's really a priority...buy the modular PSU ??!??

Other Thoughts: Currently running a i5-2500K @ 4.9GHz w/ 7970 Crossfire, 4 HDDs, 1 SSD, Liang D5 waterpump, numerous fans.....and this PSU keeps chugging along like nothing is happening.
