4 out of 5 eggsThat's One Big Power Supply!

Pros: It had all the connections I needed.

Cons: It's a bigger size than I thought it was and it didn't fit in my older case.

1 out of 5 eggsExploded after 10 month

Pros: Got it at a good price, initially worked

Cons: Bought this in November 2012, put it into a file server machine (dual core, 4GB RAM, onboard video, 4 HD). Loud bang last week and machine goes down. Seems like a capacitor in the PSU exploded.

Other Thoughts: This is the shortest lived PSU I have ever purchased (and I have purchased a lot)

5 out of 5 eggsSolid value

Pros: Power supply is more than adequate for a mid-range build. Cables are a good size. Unit runs cool and quietly.
I am very happy with the purchase.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Company pays rebate in a timely manner ( does not use clearing house).

5 out of 5 eggsdid the job

Pros: had what i needed works well

Cons: wire loom, but its ok ziptie here bread tie there and not stiff so easy to get around stuff.

Other Thoughts: got this with a asrock n68c-gs fx board that will use old and new devices ide/sata drives and comes with the hookups that are needed to do that and 500w should do the job nicely. noise to me seems avarage. so far so good.

2 out of 5 eggsAhhh!...I'll pass

Pros: it works ill give it that

Cons: the fan runs at 100% all the time and is soooo... loud its beyond useable.

Other Thoughts: like i said the fan runs at 100% all the time and is soooo... loud its beyond useable. i put a lower rpm in it and would overheat and shutdown at just 350 watts so i put the stock fan back in. i would strongly suggest the corsair cx500 as it will have no problem anything up to 600 watts. there is no quality in this product, its cheap very light the pcb in the psu is only about 3'' small .I've been using corsair psu for 6 years now so now im used to quality psu's why i bought this i really dont know? ooooh and have yet to get my rebate its been about 3 months

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Works perfectly fine. Has plenty of connectors for everything I need; will list parts in other thoughts. Wires come pre-ziptied and 24 pin is braided

Cons: None currently.

Other Thoughts: Ugly wire colors lol. Not really a con.
I'm currently running:
AMD FX 6300
Sapphire HD 7870 oc edition
Crucial Ballistix 2x 4g
Biostar TA970
500 gb WD HDD
Asus optical dvd drive
All run perfectly fine.

4 out of 5 eggsLoud fan

Pros: Seems solid enough after a few days of running
Price

Cons: Stock fan was the loudest in my assembly. I replaced with another 140mm fan. Be aware that the fan mounting holes are spaced at 120mm, which means that the "standard" 140mm fan won't fit it without some modification.

Other Thoughts: The price is good, but seeing that you have to spend $10-$20 on a good fan to go with it, probably worth just spending the extra on a power supply that is actually quiet.

1 out of 5 eggsNoisy and smelly

Pros: Cheap, supplies power

Cons: The fan spins far too fast making an incredible amount of noise. I returned it for this reason. This power supply has that cheap electronics smell at a level that knocked me back when I first took it out of the box.
