4 out of 5 eggsA bargain buy

Pros: Cheap and reliable. Perfect for low power devices such mouse, keyboard and flash drives.

Cons: Not usb 3 but knew that so no eggs lost. But everything should be usb 3 now. The egg was for the very short cord. You would need and extender if you want to run it from your tower to your desk.

Other Thoughts: The length of the cable would make this better suited for laptops unless you have an extender handy. I use mine for my Fire cause it only has one lousy usb port.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Small and portable. Cheap to buy.

Cons: Bent Cable vice protection by storage in within the device body

Other Thoughts: I don't like how the USB cable is so small enough to get easily bent by a twist-tie (as packaged) rather than incorporating its safety within the body of the hub; as other manufacturers have done. It means that future use will eventually break that cable at the crimped location. Other than that, this was cheap to buy, small in size (for portability), and it works as intended.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it, but plug intermittent after a year.

Pros: Needed a USB hub for use with my notebook on the road. (Have a larger hub that stays with the dock) I wanted something tiny and quick. This fits the bill. My wireless mouse nano transceiver lives in this hub, It takes up virtually no space in my bag. The 8" cord is long enough to set the hub out of the way behind my notebook and short enough it doesn't get tangled with others in my bag, nor require coiling/stowing.

Cons: After a little over a year of use, the male connector that plugs into the notebook has lost some of it's snug secure fit. I now have to be careful not to touch the hub, else it may loose connection.

Other Thoughts: Good value. If I have to replace it, I'll look at others, but I'm generally happy with Rosewill, so unless I find an other tiny hub with great reviews, I'll likely get an other Rosewill.

5 out of 5 eggsnice

Pros: works well.
looks pretty slick for a usb hub.

Cons: see below.

Other Thoughts: the cord is kinda short but i saw that on the picture, plus i didn't need a long one anyway so it's not really a con.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: It does what it's supposed to. Very compact. I like it.

Cons: Short cord.

Other Thoughts: I mostly wanted to write this review because I orignally ordered from another Large Online Retailer. The item was very similar, cost more, and never arrived. My money was refunded but that's my last transaction with that company. Ordered from NewEgg and got it a day early.
