4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: All around a great mouse, very comfy feeling, long and spacious cord. You can't beat the price on this, it's not an on brand mouse, however is perfect if you're on a low budget.

Cons: After 2 years, the right mouse button seems to act up, doesn't recognize the click. Kind of annoying when playing first person shooters.

Other Thoughts: Besides the right mouse button acting up at times (might be my fault), this mouse is perfect for a low budget person like myself. I own a UtechSmart Saturn keyboard as well. Do not be turned away from the "First from Asia" tag. UtechSmart has proven it's reliability and good products to me for the price they sell them at.

4 out of 5 eggsTrackball guy here

Pros: So I have/had a Trackball Explorer. Obviously very long in the tooth, worn out, and super expensive to replace. Decided I'd bite the bullet and give this thing a trial run to see if it would entertain me.

Well first off, I barely know what to do with 9 buttons. Just having three thumb buttons is more than I really know what to do with...never mind the other 3 auxiliary buttons. Feels crisp enough for me. Maybe a little too fast at times, but I guess it'll be useful for spanning my 4 monitor desktop.

Glowy light is RGB. That's fancy and awesome, even if it is completely useless and a waste of power.

Cons: Yeah, as others have stated Unless you have some kinda 6 monitor eyefinity monster setup, the two higher DPI settings are completely useless. I'm running maybe 25-30% cursor speed on the next to lowest DPI.

4 out of 5 eggsLots of bad reviews?

Pros: More than the typical mouse buttons but not too many.

Many are in comfortably accessible places.

The precision available in the settings is highly customizable. (Adding the weights help at higher poll rates).

It's a bigger mouse and it's nice bc I have bigger hands.

The software may have a high startup impact, but it is highly tunable, from color of lights to DPI settings for 4 different profile settings dispersed between two actual profiles.

The two profiles can be switched on the fly with a bottom button (which is nice to avoid accidental profile swapping).

I personally like to customize it for different uses which I will explain in notes section.*

Cons: Of the polling rates are set to high, the smallest fibers can throw the Mouse off. Not a huge problem tho, just turn the rate down a bit and save your profile to correct.

Higher DPI settings are not as useable unless you turn down Windows' mouse settings for pointer speed. They prolly should've made it one adjustable feature with the Mouse drivers.

Some ppl report shockingthemselves or having cheap quality to their products and I can't agree. It's not a con, but has been a con many have reported. So I thought I'd mention here, I've dropped this mouse with all weighs in it, multiple times, and out still works great well as remain accurate. And I've never h had any shocking problems. I also do not use the "breathing lights" settings. Only the standard steady lights.

Other Thoughts: *I like to make one profile with buttons programmed as normal operating buttons. So if I'm using Windows and web browsing or looking through Windows explorer I have buttons for Back, Fwd, Select All, etc. On the 2nd profile, I have buttons programmed to represent keyboard keys on the right hand side which I couldn't normally use in games like Far Cry 3, B4, Crysis 3, WoT and it proves useful to clear up other buttons around my left hand thus allowing me to customize those buttons in game. So I basically have a gaming profile (with DPI settings in increments of 1000 and the mouse light on so I could fine tune the DPI I want depending on the games settings and feel) and then a regular profile with the light a different color (or off bc I watch movies a lot at night and hate the bright lights at night). The regular profiles DPI settings are a little more broad (and with zero mouse acceleration) So they can be adjusted for different situations. The gaming DPI settings are a bit tighter to allow for precision fine tuning on the fly tho.

Overall I like this mouse. I wish the thumb grip button was located a bit differently so the mouse had a better grip but it's not a problem. Just my 2cents.

Another great aspect of this mouse is that my profiles store to the mouse itself. Bc I disconnect from my PC and plug into my laptop for school projects, and I never installed the driver software on my laptop. The button settings remain the same though. I can use the back button to undo things in MS Office/Visio/NetBeans IDE which is useful for ppl like me who change devices regularly.

Great mouse, high DPI, high polling rate, good selection of colors (and yes they are a little different in cases between screen and light, bc the screen is a color swatch and the light is an led, so obviously they wouldn't look exactly the same). For the price and quality of the peripheral, it is surely worth the purchase. I got it bc I hate replacing batteries too often and wanted higher DPI w/o spending 3x as much on a different mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good mouse

Pros: Very nice software that lets you make quite a few customization's like changing the light color, adding more weights, and creating multiple button actions to bind to a certain key. The mouse feels really good in the hand and glides very easily. Tons of features that even $50 and $60 mice don't have.

Cons: Some of the buttons like the back and forward buttons feel a little flimsy but time will tell if they hold up to long hours of abuse. I also wish the DPI led's would change color with the logo, but nothing too major to have to take an egg away.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great mouse for just over $30 bucks. Why pay for a $70 Razer or Logitech mouse that has less feature's, when you can get a very decent mouse for half the price, but people will pay extra for a silly well known brand name. Love it and cant recommend the product enough.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Buttons are responsive, movement is great, and I love the sensitivity indicator.

I was surprised how large it was - it fits my hand well, but I have big hands.

Cons: Record macro button isn't in the best spot, I end up hitting it without intending to.

Other Thoughts: It's pretty light for its size. Had to use all the weight cartridges to get any heft to it, but it's a personal preference - not a bad thing.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than Expected!

Pros: Great software
amazing feel
solid build
great lighting
macro buttons are in smart places
dpi control is great love the 8000dpi

Cons: The weights it comes with are useless doesnt add enough weight for those who like a heavy mouse

Other Thoughts: thought it would just be an average mouse for the price, but turned out to be quite good

5 out of 5 eggsWired... to clarify

Pros: Accurate, precise and nice interface

Cons: buttons are okay but they function a bit less fluidly than they would seem (maybe bc I hold the mouse askew).

Other Thoughts: Two profiles simply turned into one with the light on and one without (for day and night time uses). The levels of sensitivity are very nice and I have not had any issues with this "shocking" that others have run into. I love the mouse even though it is wired. If it was not, batteries would be getting chewed up repeatedly. The response timing is superb also. So I learned to like a wired mouse.
