Analysis & Comparison of 1ms Key Response Time

Exclusive "ahead" technology reduces key response time to 1ms. It is 18 times faster than others and always stays ahead of your enemies in gameplay! (Normal time for others is 18ms)

Press to Send
The Bloody Ahead Series apply innovative "Press to Send" technology, where the incoming signals are sent right upon the keys being pressed, thus reducing the response time to a minimum. See figure below - the analyzer shows the key response time is 0.872ms. Less than 1ms.

ZL5A

Press and Wait to Transmit
Other brands use "Press and Wait to Send" technology. The incoming signals are filtering till the correct inputs are detected, then sent out. It takes a longer waiting time and causes delay. See figure below - the analyzer shows the key response time is 18ms.

ZL5A
Exclusive "Ahead" technology also resolves "Over-clicking" generated by lifting the mouse up and down, it also avoids error input caused by switch-aging effects, greatly prolonging switch's life span.
Innovative "16-grade Calibration Technology," fine-tunes the focus between the laser-grade engine and its working textures, which makes the capture images clearer for better cursor position and wider working surface adaptability.
Durable, Sensitive, Frictionless
  • Glides 20% faster
  • Sustain lens working distance
  • Quality remains after 300km abrasion test

Exclusive Ultra Gun3 offers four shooting modes shifted by "1, N, 3, 4" keys to boost up firepower for the best firearms performance.

Instant upgraded sniping techniques by applying six (6) powerful sniping modes. Capable of shifting swiftly between "Machine Gun" and Sniper" modes to destroy the target effortlessly.
(Above features are offered by Ultra Core 3 and needs separate purchase).

1 out of 5 eggssnake oil

Pros: lol

Cons: It took me forever to find a driver on there website. And there are so many model names but with different version.
And it is impossible to setup using in BF4 on weapons.
I do not recommend this mouse to anyone unless you need some snake oil.

Other Thoughts: waste of money, time to deal with this company.

5 out of 5 eggsYet another great A4Tech mouse!

Pros: Very adjustable, accurate and easy to use. If the 8200 setting is too high for you, simply set it as high as you like, until you're ready to move it up. You can adjust it quickly or gradually, it's your choice. Heavy braided cord, durable mouse feet, adjustable sensitivity on the fly, great prices from Bloody Ultra Gaming Gear, who could ask for more?

Cons: Haven't found any cons in an A4Tech mouse yet...

1 out of 5 eggsSolidly built/made BUT has horrible drivers

Pros: The build quality is very good and feels solid but not quite as heavy feeling like other gaming mice.
Nice threaded cable
Cool rocker switch on side

Cons: I can't use the mouse with a USB Hub, I did for a short while but eventually the hub doesn't even recognize the mouse and when I boot up the computer with the mouse plugged in, the computer has some sort of lag. The mouse sort of works when plugged directly into the computer but that lag is very annoying. I try playing a movie and I get a noticeable FPS drop reminiscent of the freezes I get occasionally during use except on a much shorter time than say 5-10 seconds.

While I am playing games the mouse freezes occasionally when I had the bloody5 software installed. Uninstalling that software seemed to remove the freezes but the computer slows down like you are using your computer in slow motion with the FPS drop.

You also can't fine control the lights. The lights on the mouse pulsates and that may be causing the issues. If you want to turn off the lights you can't do so and if you want to use different colors than the stock ones, you also cannot do so. The pulsating lights go on the back under your palm with their bloody logo and some zig zag pattern under the palm.

Other Thoughts: No adjustable weight if you are into that.
Mouse Kinda fits hand but not as good as other gaming mice.

Hardware wise the mouse is great. Bundled with glitchy drivers? meh I don't think the price or drivers fits this mouse. Until the drivers are improved and I can use the mouse with the USB hub, I'll just use other mice out there.

It may be my potato computer but why would I use hardware that takes up more resources than it needs? Instead of lag in my mouse I now get lag on the display.

I'm returning this even if I have to pay feeds to restock/ship. This mouse is made for gaming and this would hinder rather than improve your performance by freezing your computer and slowing your framerate.

5 out of 5 eggsBloody Mice

Pros: I do NOT have THIS mouse but I have THREE A4Tech model V7 Ultra Gaming Gear Bloody Mouse. The oldest one I bought 13 months ago on Jan 21st. 2014, and I have used in continuously on my main computer, also use for gaming and major graphic work. However, they were fairly new, and this model was just being introduced so I got them for $35

The fact that I used the first one for two months and then bought two more should say just how much I like them. I am an OLD gamer and I need all of the help I can get. My eyes, hearing and reaction time is NOT what it used to be!

They work JUST as advertised. You can program the mouse to do all kinds of neat things, with macros, for MS Word, Photoshop, and/or whatever you need, and etc.

For FPS games you can program it for how the gun responds, so that your gun and the shots do not kick up so much or to the right to much. You can also program it so that the gun, if it is a single shot acts more like a semi-auto, with out continually pressing the mouse over and over. It does that by making the mouse button repeat itself, just like your keyboard does. IF you hold a key down it will continually repeat that letter/number until you release the key. While IN GAME you can turn this on and off, and you can change the adjustments.

However, some claim that this is cheating? But hey the keyboard REPEATS keys if you hold them down and that is basically what you are doing here with the mouse.

Cons: I did have a problem with one of the mice. It has cool LED lights in the mouse and after a week the they stopped working. I contacted A4 and I had a replace BEFORE they received the bad one. So I would say they customer support is TOP NOTCH.

One other con for me, on this mouse it the PRICE, $90.00!
Like REALLY? They may have a hard time sellng them at that price! Hence probably the reason there are NO OTHER reviews here!!

Other Thoughts: The main difference between the ones I got and the one here is the buttons of the left side of the mouse. Mine have the standard TWO, normally used on other mice as Forward Scroll and Back Scroll, but you can program them to do whatever you want.

Personally I don't like all of those extra buttons on the left! I think (but do not know) you could have problems accidentally pressing one. THAT may not be a problem but also I am sure that you can program them to do nothing it you wanted to.

So IF I do not have this mouse WHY did I do this review? I also had some A4 RAM that I updated my old laptop with that worked great. I swear I am not affliliated with A4 in any way, but I do LIKE the company. So far I have had good luck with their products, customer is better than 90% of the other companies that I have had to DEAL WITH, and besies, like I said, I love the mice. :-)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse. Catch it on sale though.

Pros: I own one of each of the A4tech blod mice and love them all. It has everything you need in a mouse. programable buttons, braided cable that will last, metal sliders for smooth aiming. 8200DPI adjustable to anyones preference. love it!

Cons: Only complaints with this mouse is for the expensive price tag, the bottom chassis is plastic not aluminum as it appeard in the picture. Still wellade just would have made it more worth the high price. I caught this mouse on sale for $40 and it was worth that. wouldn't pay more that $60 though. can get other A4tech mice for less.
