5 out of 5 eggsWorth buying by far!

Pros: Fast at gaming, Battlefield 3-4 run perfectly fine with this no stutters of any sort and installing the processor is quite simple to say the least.
Trust me on this if you're borderline on another processor this is most likely your best bet for performance/price ratio.

Cons: Can't be overclocked but doesn't really matter considering it can handle it's self quite well.

Other Thoughts: Stop wasting time to buy it at the last minute it boosts up to 3.6GHz and has power saving settings that make it run at a lower clock based on system usage which is awesome to say the least. =)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing CPU

Pros: This CPU doesn't even reach it's full potential when playing Battlefield 4 and it runs like butter. Couldn't ask for better.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Wasn't free.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat if you don't want to overclock

Pros: Runs cool, quiet, and fast. You can't do much better than this without overclocking.

Cons: Installing the stock cooler pins took several tries and a good 10-15 minutes, but that's being nitpicky.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU

Pros: Great CPU for everyday use.
Since I'm not overclocking, an unlocked CPU works for this PC build.
Great power without high power consumption.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU for the cost

Pros: Cost, at the time i purchased this CPU it was 170 after a discount making this a much better bargain than a 8320 AMD CPU that is selling for 160. I am able with the limited unlocking to move this to a 4.0 ghz and no problems with stability nor overheating. Unless you can find the k series for cheaper i would recommend.

Cons: Not fully unlocked and does not have the hyperthreading tech that an i7 would have. Though those do come with a cost and I only payed 170 :).

Other Thoughts: Worth the money if you can get it on a deal. Great for gaming and everyday use.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat chip

Pros: Good price, good power. If my GPU goes out, the integrated graphics allow me to still use my rig with limited capabilities until I get a replacement.

Cons: The integrated graphics aren't anything special, but I had a discreet card before purchasing the CPU, so this wasn't a problem. Also, if you do your research before buying, like checking the Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy chart for the Intel HD 2500 series, you have no reason to be surprised.

Other Thoughts: I was debating between this and the 3570K, as everyone says you have to buy a 3570K. But I use my rig primarily for gaming, and most modern games aren't bottlenecked by a cpu of the 3470's power, so there's no reason for me to get one faster or with more OC capability. (Anandtech does an article called "Choosing a Gaming CPU" that concludes that, for single-GPU gaming, you need even less power than the 3470)
