1 out of 5 eggsGood but not worth the price tag

Pros: intel processors run cooler and consume less energy an utilize the cores better. this is quite fast and excellent

Cons: Now here's the catch i run 2 rigs one is a AMD fx 8350 and my second rig has this processor in it...... i only pay 200 for my amd 8 core and it run at 4.2 ghz on turbo..... seriously intel where in the hell do you get off charge this processor for this insane amount of money.... it's almost like intel is trying to insult me

Other Thoughts: Would have given this a 5 egg rating except for the price.... Completely unforgivable i won't be buying a intel product ever again..... my AMD fx-8350 hauls past this thing

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Woo it's shiny and fast wow amazing

Cons: -It's made by Intel, which is the equivalent of a Mac.
-It's hyper-threaded, which means some of the "cores" are floating-point instead of actual physical cores.
-The price is outrageous for something that's slower than a <$200 AMD
-Does it even lift?

Other Thoughts: I have an AMD FX-4170 Black Edition and it absolutely destroys my friends' Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge processors in the benchmark. Not only does mine have lower heat generated, mine also doesn't run at the full clock speed unless it's actually being used. Don't waste an obscene amount of money on a processor like this. Just get an FX-6000 series or even an FX-8000 series. They're better in every way.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: NONE so far with this entire order.

Cons: I spend $1500+ dollars on new toys and pay extra to get it shipped next day. THERS NO SUCH THING as next day when every order you place gets stalled in "processing" for three days. yes newegg out of the goodness of their heart refunded me my shipping but this entire order has gone from bad to worse

1: next day shipping took over a week
2: Corsair liquid cooler, advertised as LGA2011 compat IS NOT COMPAT without either FORCING it onto the posts or making mods to the brackets.
3: $1000 cpu arrives DOA. Or the motherboard did but im guessing the CPU.

Other Thoughts: I would fill this in but the anger im feeling right now would just make it sound like a complete rant which it would be. A completely justified rant.
