Pros: Semi loud speakers
Really nice and tall. I lay these down on their sides on my entertainment center.. They look really good.
Remote control is small but switches between audio eq and loudness and I place them on top of speaker to remember where it is at.
Bass... For little speakers, 4 of the 6 are woofers that put out surprising db's

Overall crystal clear sound and I upgraded from Genius HF1800A speakers and they are night and day. And I always loved the 1800 speakers.

OH and if you use optical this is for you

Cons: Well I guess you can day the small remote.. Could and probably will get lost. And the volume control button doesn't have any indication of what level of volume it's on but that doesn't bother me, I've read others complain so... No, not many cons so far but I hope these last me.

Other Thoughts: Like I said I had a pair of HF1800A and I liked them... Recommend them. But now having these... Spend the extra $30 for these. They are around the same size as far as the cabin goes. My HF1800A actually just died on me... Amp stopped working but had them for some time now. Maybe 3-4yrs

Pros: I bought these speakers for their output power (60W) and for the fact that they have an optical input. They are fed from the audio output jack of our Panasonic TV. The speakers built in to the TV are very poor.

The Genius speakers provide the best sound that we have had from the TV, including passing the sound through our Sony sound system.

We are especially pleased with these speakers since we have gotten them to be controlled by our Logitech Harmony 350 remote control. We had to work with Locitech to accomplish this.

Cons: There is no indication of volume level.
