5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: If you’ve spent good money on a nice camera, spend a little more on these cards. When I shoot 24 MP RAW files, the buffer empties noticeably quicker in my Nikon D7100.

Cons: Could be a little cheaper :-)

Other Thoughts: I no longer use my 45 MB cards. I hate waiting for the buffer to empty.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh speed with my Sony

Pros: Significant higher speed than the Ultra. I can shoot now 24MP (megapixels) images, at 6 fps (frames per second) up to 20-25 frames, without being worried that the buffer will fill.

Cons: No issues with it so far.

Other Thoughts: For those 2% of the times when you want to shoot fast fps with a pro camera, get one of these!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: As an SD Card, its form factor is superior to USB because when using a built-in SD card reader on a laptop, it is less prone to damage than a USB due to how there are no extruding parts.
Write Protection on SD cards are highly useful.
It consistently writes at 59MB/s regardless of filesize and amount on a ThinkPad W530. The read speeds peaked at over 2GB/s on many small files, though I can't be entirely sure what the true peak is without bothering to use benchmark software.
It functions as expected of country grown vegetables.

Cons: The packaging is annoying to open. There is about as much glue on the packaging as there is on badly applied drywall. Since I did not have any scissors lying around, I had to use electrician's pliers and use the gorilla strength of a thousand blazing suns to tear the packaging open.
In hindsight I should have used the soldering iron to melt it open instead since the metal tip was already wasted.
Using the razor sharp edginess of the local teenage population was also an acceptable option.

Other Thoughts: Removable devices cannot be partitioned in Windows.
SD Cards cannot act as boot devices without a USB adapter (on a ThinkPad W530) on devices that require drivers to be installed (like Ricoh). USB Card readers (Like the highly rated Kingston) do not count. They must be adapters.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Fast and reasonably priced.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I am using this with a Nikon D300. The write speed exceeds the data stream from the camera. It also holds a few thousand pictures. I am very pleased with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works!

Pros: One of the only items in the computer world that is true plug and play, this is the fastest of the line, used them for years in its prior generations, this continues the trend for me. Used currently in Canon S110, Leica DLux4.. bottle neck in speed would be your own device for the most part.
if you want fast w/o concern of questionable reliability, Extreme pro is it.

Cons: what happened to the little neoprene case they used to give?

Other Thoughts: reliable card
