It's outlasted the cameras. It's fast enough for the cameras that I've had (various versions of Canon Elphs) Cons: Can't think of a con. Other Thoughts: When I bought this 6 years ago it was in the high end of capacity (I think there was 16 gb cards at the time, but way too expensive. Even this was $75 at the time). Even now, it seems 8gb is plenty enough for a camera for everyday use since I download the pictures to the computer often enough. I guess you would need more for a long trip though.
