4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it is supposed to, most of the time!

Pros: - USB 2.0
- small
- SD & Micro SD slots

Cons: - sometimes SD cards do not register when put into the device. You can pull the SD card out and put it back in and it will normally load up properly. Doesn't happen enough to detract from the product, probably just the data-pins not connecting with the SD reader's data-pins :) (not sure if that is the appropriate vernacular, but it makes sense to me :)

5 out of 5 eggsDoes exactly what you need it for.

Pros: This does what you need it to do - excellent transfer rate, snug fit for SD cards, no extra input slots for unnecessary devices. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb when in operation. I've actually attached a piece of velcro to it and keep it attached to my case for when I need it.

Cons: It is a bit small - but then again, so are SD cards. You get what you pay for, and this is well worth its price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: The Transcend card reader is small, has all the slots I need and syncs quickly. It also works with USB extensions so that you can use it with a micro USB cable.

Cons: The cards stick out the side blocking other slots. Not really a con but an observance.

Other Thoughts: I think that in comparison to other small electronics, this was a little pricey. I paid it happily and am glad I did.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job reliably

Pros: Compact, nicely designed, can use either full sized or micro sd cards, consistent transfer rates

Cons: Cap covering USB male end is easy to lose

Other Thoughts: I've been pleasantly surprised by this device. I do not have a card reader in my desktop pc and lately have needed to transfer a lot of songs and video from the pc to the micro sd cards I use in my phone and tablets. Until now I've been using an ancient card reader that requires an adapter for micro sd or a micro sd reader that cost all of a dollar. Mounting the cards and transfer rates were hit or miss. This device has solved all those problems for a very low cost. Recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good. No need for drivers.

Pros: Very good. Plug and play. Perfect for my needs as a photographer. Portable. Works better than the card reader that I have as part of the computer, that barely works now.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: would be cool if it was usb 3

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: Small
Works
Cheap

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Plugged it right in the front USB 2.0 and it reads every SD and microSD we have fed it. Have had trouble with other brands in the past ... this one just works.

5 out of 5 eggsIn Reply to N/A "Rediculously Slow"

Pros: This Review is in Reply to N/A's review of ridiculously slow.
Its not the card reader that is slow but rather your micro SD card.....

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Get a faster rated micro SD card or better yet an SD card instead of a micro SD. Look for a high speed rating.
