This is indeed a MLC drive but with the new TRIM (you have to have win 7 or Linux 2.6.28and compatible controler) and drive firmware with new algorithms that markedly reduce the size of the data block being sent to and from system memory. This product is easily into the 1,000,000 MTBF. Cons: Price per GB still a little high. This is a MLC drive vs SLC. If you don't know the difference I suggest looking it over. In simple terms, performs slower and wears faster.
