Pros: I bought this when it was on special for $20, and i could not have possibly spent $20 better. Id recommend this flash drive to anyone. The casing is a nice metal, polished and smooth. It's the size of two pennies side by side, very small and sleek.

OH DID I MENTION ITS INDESTRUCTABLE?

Simply indestructible. I've owned this flash drive for *five* years now, it has been washed+dried, stepped on, dropped, thrown, bent, crushed countless amounts of time. I once caught my pants leg on the flash drive protruding from my front USB port, broke the entire port and bent the drive at a 90 degree angle, it still works. More than a year later i bent it back, still works. I wouldnt know how to break this if i tried.

Cons: Write speeds are sub-par compared to modern drives, which is to be expected. This flash drive did start its manufacturing *eight* years ago, you know, it's a little outdated. However, even being 8 years behind the game the OCZ's write speeds are still comparable with many of todays more expensive 16gb, 32gb models...but extraordinarily slow when compared to lower compacity models.

Other Thoughts: buy it. buy it. buy it. buy it. buy it.

Pros: i bought this i think in 08 when i build my rig. it always has worked and is reliable. its also the fastest. i have made a total of 2 trips through the washing machine and once in the dryer. still works like the day i got it. i think i paid 25 back in the day

Cons: only thing i didn't like about it is the cap i lost. worst part i knew where i lost it and couldn't find it bc its clear and small. at least i think i knew where i lost it seeing i never found it. thats really my fault. no real cons for this product

Other Thoughts: seems to be washing machine friendly. i wouldn't recommend taking it for a cycle

Pros: Drive still works after 3 years; transfer rates around 20 mb/s, so not sure about all the complaints. Bought it here for $27 regular price.

Cons: Why is the price for 16gb on this drive 3 years later over $50??? OCZ may reply to this.. No one should buy it based on that, when 16gb costs less than a fourth of this one. Seller please revise your pricing. I'm pretty sure the price for memory has been driven down.

Other Thoughts: Newegg shame on you for allowing this to happen.

Pros: Very fast. Fastest drive I have ever used. Measured at 16.6 MBps write speed and 31.3 MBps read speed. I purchased couple of well known brand after this one and they were all less than half the speed of this one. And I got it for 16 backs after rebate I think, very cheap :) It has been over a year since I got it and it is still working fine. I use it once a week to copy large files.

Cons: Doesn't have cap holder on back, you have to keep the cap somewhere while using the drive.

Pros: None

Cons: It won't transfer files once it gets hot and it gets hot very quickly! Basically, it's useless....maybe good for 1G or 2G of storage/file-tranfering before it gets hot......definetely not 16G! Worst flash drive.....don't buy it!

Pros: It looks nice

Cons: Everything else. Extremely unreliable. Short life span.

Other Thoughts: This has to be the worst thumb drive I ever owned -- true piece of junk. Apart from being slow like molasses, it doesn't work for any meaningful length of time. I had two of them and they all died within a few months of light usage. I never dropped them or mishandled them in any way.
I will never buy anything made buy OCZ ever again.

Pros: High capacity (14.9GB)

Cons: doesn't allow more then 5-6GB on it now

Other Thoughts: I bought this back when a 16GB hard drive was gigantic. Cost me like $45. After a long time of owning the flash drive it stopped allowing large files to go on it so now when i try to put a 6GB file on it, it says it's full when it's actually empty. I tried reformatting and that did nothing. I'd say just get something else

Pros: I t Works - Sometimes...

Cons: Let's See. It's Slow, Unreliable, And Won't Open My Files Most Of The Time.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste Your money. I went to a national retailer and bought a cheap SanDisk Cruzer, it copies files faster, and I never have any of the problems that this thing has...

Pros: It's 16gb.

Cons: - I had the BSOD right after inserting the flash drive for the first time. I ended up formatting it again and it seemed to stop.
- Gets hot
- Can't stick the end cap on the rear of the flash drive so I don't lose the thing.

Pros: Works. Good for people who enjoy watching download progress screens.

Cons: Causes eventual drowsiness in anyone with a schedule.

Other Thoughts: I can't believe these slugs are still being made. We have one (we were lucky and got it for free), and we only use it as a last resort when the others are unavailable and we don't want to burn discs. A Mushkin makes this look like a dead, flashing roach.
