This memory kit is above standard, so keep in mind it is necessary to manually configure settings in BIOS/EFI, or enable the performance profile. Pros: Good, if it works.

Cons: I purchased 2 pair of the RAM when it was on sale. One pair worked fine, but the other one didn't work. I ordered a RMA to replace it it a new pair, spending money for shipping, and all I got back is another pair that doesn't work again. Now I'm stuck with it. Waste of money.

Don't forget the specifications are above standard, so it is necessary to manually input DRAM Frequency DDR3-1600, timings tCL 9 - tRCD 9 - tRP 9 - tRAS 24, and Voltage 1.50V in BIOS/EFI. With the proper settings, your system will be fast and smooth with 16GB of DDR3-1600. In the future, instead of purchasing two seperate kits of RAM, it is best to purchase a single kit that has been pre-matched, tested, and guaranteed to work in a single system from factory. Pros: Look neat. Matched timing with current chips.

Cons: Worked for a day. Reinserted twice. No luck.

Other Thoughts: First installed and worked like a charm. Turned machine off twice during the day and all was fine. Next morning...the 3 steady beeps. Chips out, machine fine. Will RMA these and see how much of a problem this all turns out to be. Will try again with replacements.

Pros: Good memory when it works

Cons: One of the 2 modules failed after a month, causing lots of BSOD's and corrupting my windows install.

Pros: None so far

Cons: Customer Service, and bad RAM stick after only 3 months

Other Thoughts: I had bought a new system and had the RAM for only roughly 3 months before I started to BSOD. I ran through all the problems it could be virus, registry, bad driver, etc. and finally i tested the RAM with memtest in different slots and guess what? The RAM was failing. Now i did not have a problem sending in an RMA and waiting on my RAM to get to me but now it has been over 2 weeks since I have sent in my RMA and after not getting responses from their customer service and G. SKILL messing up my address that I have been waiting in wonder on when i will receive this ONE stick of RAM. I have come to the conclusion that I will not be buying RAM from this manufacturer anymore after the lack of replies from customer service.

Pros: look great and worked well before they started giving me issues

Cons: blue screened after 4 months, installed different ram and problem has not been back since. i guess one of the sticks is bad. i dont have the time to play around and figure out what sick is bad, there both going back as a kit

Pros: None

Cons: Well for one they aren't low profile would barely fit under CM V6GT, wouldn't auto detect on mobo. Even with XMP stuff still bsod like crazy, 600k+ errors in memtest and passmark. Buy this way better :D N82E16820233199 sorry g.skill but after 6 years I'm done this ram was just bad plus the heatsinks where really flimsy

These modules are slightly taller than standard, each end height extends roughly 12mm, so the modules are 12mm taller than standard at the maximum. Typical high performance RAM can extend beyond 40mm, so this is fairly low profile. Especially in a computer case with limited space, almost everything will be in a somewhat tight space.

Pros: Fits nicely under my hyper 212 evo cooler, worked great for a month

Cons: Went bad after a month, failed every memtest pass on both sticks, will update review after the rma.
