5 out of 5 eggsA skeptic made into a believer

Pros: Tiny. Works on every PC I've tried. Did I mention tiny?

Cons: None so far. Although all plastic construction could cause problems for longevity.

Other Thoughts: I was really surprised by this drive. I bought it as a bonus when I bought a Kingston DT108 (the folding USB drive), thinking there wouldn't be much to it. It has become my primary backup USB drive on my keyring. I do have some concerns about the drive's longevity given its plastic construction and ring, but I've had no trouble so far.

5 out of 5 eggsSeriously tough and very tiny

Pros: Very, very tough. Survived a trip through a washing machine and came out just fine (I made sure to let it dry thoroughly before attempting to plug it in).

It's tiny size actually makes it MORE durable; I've lost two USB drives due to the fact that they were sticking out the side of my laptop and got bumped or jostled or caught on something as I set my laptop down (one even destroyed my computer's USB slot, pulling the plastic right out from under the metal connectors). There is no metal sleeve to separate from the rest of the device, the plastic isn't pliable, but it's not rigid either. Files could still read/write just fine as I jiggled it up and down, back and forth.

NO MORE CAPS TO LOSE. No more swing components, moving parts or other physical components to worry about.

Did I mention tiny? It's about the thickness of a penny. Great for USB slots stacked close together. Like where I could never cram 2 regular size drives in next to each other.

Cons: Lost it for about a month because it's so tiny and I somehow forgot I had it; after I first opened it, I tossed it in a desk drawer jammed with pens, staples, the usual desk clutter.

Other Thoughts: There are many other cheaper 8GB USB drives on Newegg and elsewhere, but for the quality, this is a great deal. If you think about how many times you've absolutely needed a flash drive and shelled out $24.99 at Staples or Best Buy for a mediocre 2GB drive, this is very reasonably priced in comparison.

And if you tend to have multiple things plugged into your USB slots, these are fantastic. Our desk computer is just a touchscreen monitor, so to fit in all the ports and slots that are usually on a tower, HP stacked the USB slots vertically instead of next to each other. With a wireless keyboards and whatever else plugged in, we couldn't use a JumpDrive and Store'n'Go at the same time unless you pulled the monitor out and pushed them in at the same time.

5 out of 5 eggsIt really is tiny!

Pros: I bought this as a key chain drive that I could always have with me. I've tried others before, but like to keep my key chain as minimalist as possible. This works great! Its tiny and comes with a mini-lanyard to connect it to your key chain.

Cons: When transferring very large files to it, it seems that the transfer speeds progressively decrease (ie at start of transfer ~25MB/s, by end of transfer ~15MB/s).
I did not take any eggs away for this because it's not noticable unless transferring 4GB+ files.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone needing/wanting to have an ultraportable storage solution.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Very small. Quick.

Cons: It's so small I might lose it. All it needs is a beeper.

Other Thoughts: Works great! After two years it's still quick and works great. What more can you ask for?

1 out of 5 eggsWriting Performance is very bad

Pros: Thin and small. It's really tiny

Writing performance is very very bad. It often gets stuck at last 1% of a large file

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: 1. Tiny.
2. Moderately large capacity.
3. Static-discharge resistant (important if on keychain).
4. "SecureZone" password protection.

Cons: 1. Easy to lose unless kept on keychain, backpack, etc.
2. Not the fastest car in the garage (8-9 MB/sec. writes).
3. "SecureZone" login is SLOW (10-20 seconds).

Other Thoughts: Did not buy this one from NewEgg, but do want to buy a pair of 16's from NewEgg (prefer one 32 but it's as expensive as two 16's ... PLUS an 8!).

5 out of 5 eggsTough!!

Pros: Compact, easy to carry around. Incredibly sturdy.

Cons: Tried to use it as memory to make my netbook run faster, but I believe the problem is on my end.

Other Thoughts: I've had this just under a year, I keep it on my keychain which gets beat around a LOT, and it hasn't suffered at all because of it.

2 out of 5 eggsdead after 1 year

Pros: Was a great product- excellent form factor, convenient, reasonably priced.

Cons: Died after just over one year of use. Luckily didn't have any irreplaceable data on it (I hope- I didn't use it that frequently).
