5 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: fast transfer speeds
zero corruption
tiny tiny tiny yet
easy to handle and plug in/out
price
basic USB storage....nothing fancy, just simple storage

Cons: cap may get lost
string loop is microscopic
choking hazard
no light to show data transfer (although that just maybe a PRO)

Other Thoughts: i needed a small USB for my car stereo, this is about the same size as a bluetooth dongle, which is tiny...not miniscule, but tiny is great.

i would only wish it wouldn't have a cap, rather a spring loaded (stilletto type) port so i wouldn't need to store the cap in my car, or possibly lose it.

otherwise, for the price, and size, its better then any other USB storage i own.
and great price

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Large Size

Cons: After a little more than a year (coincidentally just after the warranty period ended), the drive started corrupting every file I used. You don't know the file has been corrupted until the next time you try to open it, and it is no longer accessible. I lost several important files that I had to recreate. This is sold as an HP drive, but it is actually a PNY product. I paid $23, and I see now they are down to $13. Still a rip-off if they are not reliable. I see there is a 16GB PNY on sale now for $7. I wouldn't touch another PNY product (or HP, since you don't know until you get it who actually makes it).

Other Thoughts: If you do buy this, make sure you back up your files frequently.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply the Best for Xbox 360

Pros: This performed exactly as expected. I bought four of them. Two for general use, two for installation on an Xbox 360 Core system.

I gave two of them away to Friends. They were looking for work and needed a means to keep their documents with them to transfer between computers. 16GB was enough for them to take all their important files while still leaving room for other media as needed.

That made for plenty of storage on the KiNECT bundle I gave away for Christmas. I plugged in two of these and they fit snugly, but without any undue protrusion. They are quite tiny, but shaped just right for easy removal. The system recognized and formatted them without issue. Access was fast, without waits or stutters for Arcade games downloaded to these units.

Cons: Now that the storage capacity per USB device has been increased to 32GB on Xbox 360, it would be nice if that capacity were available at this form factor.

Other Thoughts: Near as I can tell, these things are pretty much perfect. If transporting them, the protective cap fits tight and snug. About the only way to loose them is to take them off, put them to the side, and walk away without them. Which my Friends did... Since I had two extra caps that were unused, I just gave those to them.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: I bought this after I accidentally kicked my Lacie one while it was in the computer and broke it in half >_<
I like the small size because I feel its safer from anyone hitting it, it has worked great for over a year, so no complaints. People are always amazed by its size as well, which is fun I guess.

Cons: none yet....

4 out of 5 eggsThey work well.

Pros: Hold a good chunk of data.

Cons: Not terribly fast or slow but i don't typically buy USB drives for the speed.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Compact size.

Cons: Died after 6 months of ownership. Used it about a dozen times & it quit working. None of my computers will recognise it. Lost all of the data I had stored on it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little flash drive.

Pros: It's very nice, very quick. I bought it to transfer files between computers and primarily to install Windows on my new machine.

Cons: It's very easy to lose, it's extremely small. That's the only con I have noticed thus far.

Other Thoughts: If it wasn't so small this would be great for everyday use, keep the size in mind. It's about the size of a Micro SD card. Smaller than a quarter.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little flash drive

Pros: Very Small
No annoying flashing lights
Write speeds are faster than advertised (~14MB/sec)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm surprised to see negative comments about this product.

I've used one of these heavily for over a year to transfer countless gigabytes from my PC to my TV which supports playing videos from a USB device.

I'm adding another one of these to my order just in case the one I own ever gives up.

It gets a bit warm after writing continuously for several minutes and remains cool while connected but idle. It also still looks like it did the day I got it over a year ago although it's never left the house.

4 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wanted

Pros: Small size, price per GB storage, average to fast transfer speeds for 2.0, included key ring strap makes sure I always have it.

Cons: The slide off cover feels loose. This may not be a con so much as a design preference. It hasn't fell off yet, but I keep thinking that down the road I'm going to loose it.. Also, I have had instances where windows won't detect the drive and I'll have to uninstall the driver then plug it back in. Again this may not be a fault of the device as I've seen this many times with flash storage devices.

Other Thoughts: For the money this thing is great. It's cheap, lightweight and very compact. On a 2.0 usb interface I transferred 8GB of data in less than 5 minutes, which to me is plenty fast enough. I wanted a good size drive to keep on my key chain so that I would have my IT tools with me at all times, and this does an excellent job.
