3 out of 5 eggsAlright keyboard

Pros: Nice layout and good feel to the keys.

Cons: I don't always seem to have a solid wireless connection, so it misses keystrokes once in awhile and mouse pointer jumps around.

Other Thoughts: I am using this combo on a HTPC and at a distance of 6 feet it doesn't have the best wireless connection. Had to tie up one of my two usb ports on the front panel for the receiver to make a decent connection. Does have a nice classic feel to the keys.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed quickly, poor reception

Pros: Price, though you get what you pay for

Cons: Wireless connection was sketchy requiring me to use a USB extension to get the dongle close enough to the keyboard & mouse.

Keyboard died in less than 2 months of light use (<2 hours/day)

Other Thoughts: Spend some extra cash and go with a Logitech or at least something a bit better engineered.

2 out of 5 eggsMouse wheel started slipping after 4 months

Pros: Nice keyboard, decent range

Cons: The mouse wheel started slipping after 4 months - you would spin it several times, and only 1 or 2 clicks would register.

Other Thoughts: This seems to be an Ubuntu issue, but on Ubuntu 13.04 the mouse scroll wheel sends about 10 scroll commands (about a page and a half work of scrolling) per click. Unplugging the RF adapter and plugging it back in fixed the issue (until the computer was restarted)

5 out of 5 eggsPrice was right

Pros: Price is nice for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Works well enough.

Cons: Cheap plasticy look and feel. Not a big deal as I knew it wasn't a high end set when i ordered it. You get what you pay for.

1 out of 5 eggsLaggy Mouse and Intermitent Keyboard

Pros: The keyboard has an angle stand on the back and a calculator button.

Cons: THE MOUSE LAGS! It jumps all over the screen. I have to practically wrestle with it just to make it click anything precise. The keyboard has no indication of caps lock, num lock or any thing else being left on. The only indicator on this keyboard is the battery light. I followed every instruction online that was supposed to help get rid of the lag, but no matter what it lags about 20% of the time i'm using it. Extremely unreliable.

3 out of 5 eggsSomewhat Dissappointed

Pros: No junk keys that I don't need
Top is black

Cons: Cheap and flimsy feeling
Bottom of keyboard is WHITE! Guess I didn't check out the pics real well. It is not all black. The bottom of the keyboard is white plastic and really takes away from the overall look of the keyboard. For the price, I guess I'll live with it for now.

Other Thoughts: I'll study the pics closer next time.

5 out of 5 eggsFor the price... Fantastic!

Pros: KB looks great. A little long but, it doesn't look cheap.

Excellent range. Fellow couch potatoes, if you don't mind a full sized KB, this does really well. The mouse does too.

Batteries included.

PRICE!

plugs in and goes.

Cons: Mouse looks the part of a low budget KB and M combo. Works well, though.

Other Thoughts: I can't not recommend this to people. It's a great buy. If you're building for others and need a decent KB and M to go along, grab these. It has a good price, works very well, and it's not a hideous set.

If you're in a pinch and need something to get you going, grab it. You just might enjoy it enough you won't "upgrade."

3 out of 5 eggsIt's okay, but poor range.

Pros: Mouse tracks well - even on shiny/semi-reflective surfaces.
Keyboard feels as good as any "non-mechanical" keyboard can.

Cons: Poor wireless range.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as replacement to my old Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo that died. While this keyboard/and mouse seem to work okay, its range is terribly small. Once I am more than about 4 feet from the receiver, the signal gets "choppy" and some keystrockes get dropped and the mouse seems jerky. At more then 5 feet from the receiver, it just refuses to work at all. This is disappointing as my old Logitech worked flawlessly up to about 12-14 feet.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent, but not spectacular

Pros: Seems to work well most of the time, on/off switch is nice for infrequent use. Receiver fits into mouse and has a very small footprint, which is great if you're using it with a laptop.

Cons: Don't expect to get a ton of range from it. I have some problems using it in the next room (HDMI cable runs from my desktop to the TV in the other room). The keyboard works almost all the time, but the mouse ends up being jerky and difficult to control.

Other Thoughts: This is strictly a secondary keyboard and mouse for me, for which they are serviceable. I would imagine using the mouse at shorter range with direct line of sight would make it much more responsive.

Bottom line is you get what you pay for. If anything will do, this is a decent set that will get you by. If you're looking for something with a more robust connection, I would keep looking.

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful, but a little too sleek?!

Pros: This keyboard and mouse are shiny and slim and well designed. I use them as desktop hardware, not for a laptop. The wireless is fine, and the battery life seems okay, too. I tend to wear out cheaper mice, but this one seams to be holding up pretty well, fingers crossed.

Cons: There are no indicator lights for Caps or Number Lock. I suppose if you are using this with your laptop, it isn't really a problem, but with my desktop computer, it has proved inconvenient more than once.
