1 out of 5 eggstotally a joke

Pros: i wish it gots one..i would give no egg,if i could...

Cons: everything..see other thoughts..DO NOT order it from that so called "kingTech"something...

Other Thoughts:'s the story..i ordered this logitech K200 Keyborad on 10/16/2014,because the lifters of my old K200 were broken. It's finnally show up today at 11/04/2014,and pecked in a cheap plastic bags, clothes?!!ok,here's the best part,i took it out the box,it's NOT even the same product. It's made out off cheap plastic(not the same as my old one,i can feel the difference),I think it's fake,it's not Logitech. And when i plug it in this thing don't even work.i type n,it will be "bn"...t,it will be"tui"..Anyway,totally disapointed.Big time wasting money and time!!I won't say it's newegg's fault. But please next time put a link on your website, you guys'd better make sure they're not a bench of jokers...

5 out of 5 eggsK200 keyboard

Pros: Cheap, quality for its price, key is mid to low profiles(good for speed typing). responds excellent!! Simply the bset. played this on BF4 and it works just as good as my K800!

Cons: For this price, there isnt much to bash on. Maybe a backlit would make this perfect for extra $5.00?

Other Thoughts: Quality piece, if they have this same setup with wireless, and make it somewhat $25 to $40 range, it would be a good sales!!

Simple functional affordable keyboard!!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Cheap, keys are quiet, it works...

Cons: Flimsy cord, no built in hand rest.

Other Thoughts: This is pretty much what I expected I was looking for a reliable cheap keyboard. I am using it for Autocad so I actually bought it based on the position of the ESC key which is very convenient.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat basic keyboard

Pros: Built like a tank - I have beat the <Explicit word here> out of this keyboard and nothing major has broken

Light weight - Depends on what you like but good if you like to have your keyboard on your lap

I got it for 10$ and it has been one of the best lasting boards i have ever owned

will standup to small spills - drip tray under keys that drains thru holes in bottom

Cons: minimal media keys - No Forward or back for music

"Home","Mail","Power", and "Calc" keys have been nothing but in my way (But that may be just me others my like them)

Kick stands broke after a few days - Cheep plastic

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to someone who is tired of there laptop keys (as i was) or just needs a replacement keyboard but anything beyond that spend the extra $

1 out of 5 eggsshift key does not work on all letters

Pros: The numbers and letters are in white not grey. It is inexpensive.

Cons: The shift key does not work on all letters rendering this keyboard usless for actually writing sentences with capital leters at the first word. The letters below in lower case do not display if the shift key is presssed. The shift key works correctly on the letters in upper case below. Is this a design flaw or a defect?

The letters do capitalize if the cap-lock key is pressed

Other Thoughts: Windows 7 OS
Why do I have to give the rating of 1 egg to leave a review when the product does not work? This deserves -1 eggs

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic buy

Pros: I have to have the fastest computer and any equipment that goes with it. I have spent 100's of dollars on them.

So why would I talk about a 20 keyboard? It has outlasted all the others. I have a shed with 8 keyboards including the first wireless ever made. They are all dead. I have a bad habbit of spilling water all over them. No matter what they say it good by money keyboard. The key size is not different than any I have seen. Nice feel even against the 300 dollar ones with lights and blinkers. I use this as a spare because well it is the only one that you can't break well almost. Even if you get it as a spare its is worth the money. Saves that emergency overnight order for a new fancy keyboard.

Their is no reason that anyone can not use this even if you have very fat fingers. Come on. Go purchase it just to have one.

Cons: It does not light up at night.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best provider on period. Don't let any hard head tell you otherwise. They will make it right even if their is a problem when did ____ ___ do that.

Just to prove my point by mistake last night I spilled a 12 oz. glass of ginger ale on it not because I wanted to. It's an evil habit. Guess what I am typing with now. If that's not enough what can you say.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job well

Pros: This keyboard is easy to type on, and the keys are quiet.

All the keys are in a standard location (some keyboards move the \ key or navigation keys; this one doesn't). Special keys to give quick access to mute & volume controls, email, etc.

It uses a wired connection so you don't have to worry about replacing batteries.

Also, the price is good.

Cons: It doesn't work with PS/2 using a USB-PS/2 adapter; it needs to actually be plugged into a USB port.

Also, it doesn't work with some software, such as the Windows 7 recovery software on the Windows 7 install disc. When using the Windows 7 recovery recently, I had to plug in a different keyboard in order to be able to type.

Other Thoughts: If I had known that this keyboard doesn't work with some software (Windows 7 recovery), perhaps I would have thought twice before buying this keyboard. Luckily one of my other computers has a keyboard that works with that though. At any rate, Logitech tends to make fairly good products overall.

The cable coming out of the keyboard is on the right side. Some other keyboards I've used have a duct for the cable to let you change where the cable comes out of the keyboard, to help keep things organized; this keyboard doesn't do that. I think that would be a nice touch, but it isn't a dealbreaker.

4 out of 5 eggsAcceptable keyboard

Pros: Inexpensive.
Not bad looking.
Good cable length.
Has a few multimedia control buttons.

Cons: Lightweight plastic.
Not interactive with Logitech's SetPoint utility.

Other Thoughts: At this price, not much was expected, nor was it delivered. I'm not saying this keyboard wasn't worth what was paid, it is a decent value, just that you still get what you pay for, and no more.
That being said, this keyboard will do exactly what is expected of it. It will be used as a replacement on a workstation primarily used for photo editing, so mouse usage is a much higher percentage than keyboard. In this application, this unit should last for several years, and was the perfect choice for the job at hand.
I was a little disappointed that the Logitech SetPoint doesn't work with the volume controls, Shift keys, etc., there is no on-screen feedback when these keys/controls are accessed. Even in this price range I did expect this interactivity, but it's not a deal-breaker.

3 out of 5 eggsFalse Advertising

Pros: It's cheap. It also has a good tactile feel.

Cons: The advertising is absolutely false:
"Four Media Hot Keys One-touch media controls on your keyboard let you mute your computer, pause a video you’re watching or skip to the next song instantly—without using your mouse."

I purchased this to replace an aging Logitech Internet Navigator (the printed circuit board seems to have partially burned out leaving one of the shift keys not working).

I got so used to being able to control music playback from the keyboard, I purchased k200 as a replacement based on the above statement.

Turns out K200 does NOT have a media key to skip to next song (much less the full playback controls of the old Navigator).

So much for that. Guess that's another replacement keyboard to the pile.

Other than that, the keyboard came with some damage to the finish - strange for a new one, but nothing major for me to bother with an RMA.

Other Thoughts: I really wish Logitech continued production of the Internet Navigator - it was the best keyboard I've ever encountered.

That aside, the K200 seems a good product, especially for the price, but the misleading advertisement is really inexcusable for somebody making the purchase based specifically on those false claims.
