5 out of 5 eggsLove it or hate it - I love it!

Pros: The battery life is extremely long. I've had my 550 wave combo for over a year and I've replaced the batteries once. The mouse is precise and quick. Most of the cheap mice I owned in the past had the 'side' buttons collapse within a few months. These are still going strong. The keyboard has every button I could ask for and the pad at the bottom promotes good ergonomics.

Cons: Short range and line of sight connections are the only way this set works right. I've seen this complaint enough that I realize "it's not just mine." Be prepared to figure out a way to work around this limitation.

Other Thoughts: I don't so much care for reviews that are posted on a brand new item. How does anyone know if it's really any good when they've only had it a week? But this combo has held up for me, absorbing my abuse, for well over a year - and being retired/disabled I am usually on my computer somewhere around 12 hours a day as I now do webmaster work to supplement my income. The arm of my recliner is my 'mouse pad' and my lap is my 'keyboard tray'. The mouse probably slides off off of the skinny arm of this chair onto the keyboard or the carpet 10 or more times daily - and both are still chugging along. This combo is kind of like the old Timex commercial that said, "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking." I >LOVE< mine and I'm fixing to buy another simply so when I do finally break it I can be sure of having another as a spare and not see that terrible word "Discontinued".

2 out of 5 eggsFine for work, bad for gaming

Pros: nice feel on both mouse and keyboard for my style. Mouse is accurate when working.

Cons: I own two of these. One at my office and one at my home. All four devices will periodically lose connection and become unresponsive. The keyboards are worse than the mice. The mice seem to only have this problem at low battery or when the bluetooth adapter is located too close to another adapter (interference?)

The keyboards unfortunately, will lose connection for many seconds at a time at random intervals. For work, this is an inconvenience but not terrible. For gaming, I've died so many times because of this device. This happens any time! New batteries, old batteries, no other bluetooth devices, other bluetooth devices around. This is the same on my Mac at work and PC at home.

Other Thoughts: At first i thought, bad on me for buying a bluetooth mouse and keyboard for gaming but my work is even impacted.

2 out of 5 eggsMouse Fine Keyboard Dud

Pros: Wireless

Cons: The Keyboard keys stick and sometimes doesn't register.
Often the keyboard isn't recognized by bios on start up and has to be rebooted

Other Thoughts: Mouse is fine. I am replacing the keyboard with another Logitech product. This is the first Logitech item to fail me!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Keyboard / Mouse Combo

Pros: I have purchased 6 of these over the last year for the computers around the office and at home. Full tactile feed back with full key strokes. I learned to type on old school typewriters so having tall keys with nice tactile feed back is my style. The keys are not clunky, but have a give feel to them. I have not had to "wake up" the mouse our keyboard as I have with some other wireless setups. The response typing is smooth and flawless with no skipping. I have dropped coffee in one of them and the keys remove easily for clean up. And with the "block" type connectors, there is no way for liquids to get down into the lower part of the board.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggskey board

Pros: As a matter of fact this is the second one that i have owned. The first one is still working and is just a bid sloppy in the keys and mouse. I have used it for about 4 years and a lot. This is why I wright this i am very pleased with this setup. and when this one wears out i will get another one.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSuper convenient keyboard/mouse combo

Pros: There's nothing like breaking free of a tethered mouse & keyboard. I bought one of these at work a few years ago because the cheap keyboard and mouse that came with the laptops they bought were kind of a joke. They didn't like me using my own peripherals because they are kind of control freaks but I talked them in to it eventually. The keyboard is pretty comfortable typing on it and I like the response the keys have. They aren't noisy but have a solid response so you can tell when a key has been struck satisfactorily or not. The mouse also works flawlessly and it feels fairly good in my hand. Neither are the best ergonomic design but better than most.

Cons: Don't really have any to speak of except that the combo certainly isn't cheap. But in this instance I paid a little more and feel like I got a little more.

Other Thoughts: You might consider sticking the receiver on the front of your machine rather than the back. Mine was a little jump from time to time while it was in a rear USB port.

4 out of 5 eggsFast shipping, good product

Pros: Super fast shipping from Newegg. Loved that. The keyboard is relatively quiet and the write pad is firm but still has give to it for comfort. I just bought a second for another computer. It feels sturdy, like most logitech stuff, should last forever.

Cons: none so far
