5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard, great price

Pros: This is a large, tactile keyboard that makes you feel like you're using a computer from, perhaps, last century. But that is a good thing. You don't get the tactile click, but you do get the nice travel and feel of the buttons. Very solid product and super for gaming (not programmable) and just typing.

Cons: It tends to stop working when the cat pukes on it and no one cleans it up until I get home.

(buying a second one, and the cat has been banned from the computer desk)

5 out of 5 eggsBest OLD KLUNKER type keyboard

Pros: This is that classic big keyboard design and feel from the PS/2 and % DIN days. it has the old kind of "spring" in the resistance of the keys and "clickity" sound that any old school data entry person can identify with. and is built like a brick in comparison to those soft key letter popping ones that came with the tower. BUT this one comes with a USB plug to work with all those computers and laptops that no longer have a PS/2 plug

Cons: Absolutely NONE

Other Thoughts: I have used this model to replace 100 of old keyboards that were either the same kind but PS/2 (and finally died after 10 years) or the keyboard that came with the new towers (lost keys in 2 days)

No ISSUES, No Driver, no learning curve, no complaints

In Fact, We bought several in beige, distressed them, and secretly replaced the keyboards at certain workstations where the OLD DOGS wanted "THEIR trusty keyboard" fixed and not replaced. They never knew it was not the same

5 out of 5 eggsgreat basic keyboard

Pros: I've worked with computers for 30 years, having worked for a computer dealer through the 80's before moving on to another business where I build my own computers and type on a computer keyboard all day. If there's a better basic keyboard out there than a Keytronic, I haven't run across it. The arrangement and touch are great, and they're built to last. I've just ordered a new one to replace my 8+ year old Keytronic keyboard. The old board is still working great, but I've worn down the little nibs on the "F" and "J" keys that help you find your home keys by feel, and without those little tactile nibs, I keep finding myself putting my fingers on the wrong keys if I don't look at the keyboard when I start typing. It's a minor inconvenience that I could live with, but why when a replacement is so reasonably priced? I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of this product!

Cons: Made in China. That's the only negative I can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Solid build, excellent key action, no extra nonsense buttons. The buttons are tall and rise/slope from bottom to top, making it very easy to feel where your fingers are, unlike the typical flat, cheap feeling, mushy and way overpriced keyboards by most manufacturers...Logi*cough*crosoft.

Cons: No wrist support, short cord.

Other Thoughts: I own this and the more expensive KeyTronic CLASSIC-U2 Black USB version. They two models are identical except the location of the "\" key. This one has "\" next to a shortened backspace key, the Classic has it next to a shortened Right Shift key...both to allow a larger "L" shaped Enter key. I was concerned this would be a cheapened model because of the price difference and the "Lifetime Series" denomination. It is not. They appear identical in quality, feel, size, everything, except price, position of one key, and the model number. So it is all about the key layout you prefer.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad backup.

Pros: It was cheap and lasting me a good amount of years.

Cons: Nothing really...

Other Thoughts: Ive used this thing for I want to say 5 years? and its still works. granted its only been my "main" keyboard for 2 out of those 5 years.
It should be noted this keyboard does not have the full standard format. It has a reverse L shaped Enter and a short backspace button (to move the " \ | " key next to + = key.

2 out of 5 eggsQuality going down

Pros: Nice layout

Cons: Quality has suffered over the years. This is not the sturdy keyboard of 5 to 10 years ago under the same model code.

5 out of 5 eggsBest keyboard for the price

Pros: One of the best no frills keyboards around. Simple and rugged, its taken years of gaming from me and still feels great pulling off 120+ wpm. Keytronic has, and still does, keep the quality up and the price.

Cons: none.

3 out of 5 eggsMade a mistake

Pros: Ok, so this keyboard is pretty nice to type on...

Cons: Ok, the stupid backspace key is 1 space which isn't life ending, but what is life ending is that the "\" key is on the left of it. Ok I am used to hitting plus there, and I always use the "\" key, so now it's in a horrible spot. And it REALLY slows me down.

Other Thoughts: WHY DID YOU HAVE A HORRIBLE DESIGN CHOICE.
I bought this from @mazon not newegg D:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard, Great Price!

Pros: I have been using KeyTronic keyboards for years because they have an arc to the keyboard that is easier on your wrists. I also like the silent tactial keys. I also use this keyboard for gaming and the board has a buffer that allows you to use mulitple keys at once for more complex keyboard use!

Cons: With heavy use, the letters wear off the keys in about a year of constant use.
