5 out of 5 eggsA stand-out keyboard

Pros: -A solid feel
-Great Mechanical typing experience
-Stylish Off-white(Ivory) Color
-Simple, full key layout, very traditional
-No intrusive branding or awful typeface on the keys

Cons: In my limited experience with mechanical keyboards, this one sounds a tad tinny when you bottom out the keys. But it still sounds amazing.

Other Thoughts: This keyboard is a quality build, with a a lot going for it. What I did do as a precaution was buy a right-angle mini-USB cable to use instead of the supplied cable.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: I obtained this keyboard through a Rosewill deal- for about 70$. That said, this keyboard is of the cheaper category, in comparison with the others.

The overall build of the keyboard is sturdy, and the white finish contrasts with the black key set. Not only that, the keys are easily modded, so that's also a plus.

Typing-wise, there's a clear distinction between your average keyboard, and a Cherry Switch mechanical keyboard. It's certainly louder, but has an increased tactile function.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: I somewhat wanted a mechanical keyboard with back-light, but it's not too much of an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME!

Pros: Everything. At first I wasn't a fan of the white keyboard with black keys, but after a few days I've grown to love the look. The function is also superior. After only a few days with this keyboard, trying to use a laptop or other non-mechanical keyboard feels like typing on a sponge.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: I've only had it a few days, so hopefully it lasts. My last keyboard was the squishy dome type and it lasted 14 years of daily use, so there should be no excuse for this one to at least equal that.

4 out of 5 eggsRk-9000BRI

Pros: Rosewill customer service.
Previous model's usb broke (a known problem) and Rosewill/Newegg began the process for a replacement the next day.
New model works great

Cons: Old model is very defective.

Other Thoughts: Customer service through newegg/rosewill was/is excellent.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing and feel like true Brown Switch.

Cons: After a year of use, the entire board just stopped working, literally out of nowhere. After some research and calling Newegg, it turns out that this model has been deactivated and that there are known USB issues.

5 out of 5 eggsA well built keyboard

Pros: The brown switches on this keyboard feel super solid when typing with them. I noticed that my WPM has increased since switching to this from my old rubber dome Logitech keyboard.
The keyboard being white and made out of this matte plastic material is great because it doesn't show dust or finger prints on it.

Cons: The USB plug in the back does seem kind of loose and could possibly be in danger of breaking the soldering if you hit or bent the cable to hard in some way. But I've heard that they fixed that issue so it shouldn't be a problem.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cherry MX (Brown) switch, Operating System agnostic. It's a keyboard that doesn't pretend to be anything more. It has one job and does it well.

A nice, sanely large BACKSPACE key is a good thing.

Cons: I've found that I actually want stiffer keys than the Browns, but since I also do not want clickiness, this is the best bet until someone makes a keyboard with Cherry MX Clear or similar keys. Not a big con. Something I wish I could have foreseen is all, really.

The USB connector? Yes, it can come out. But it's right up there and easy to put back in and it doesn't just fall out. It needs to be pulled out by something.

I'd rather have any color other than the harsh blue for the indicator LEDs.

Other Thoughts: Yes, there are fancier keyboard with cable extensions and such and they might be nice, but only if they work. My experience tells me if I need a cable, it's best to just buy a cable and if I need a keyboard, buy a keyboard.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality, Keys

Pros: The keyboard looks great, feels great and appears to be of high quality. The USB connector that many other people seemed to have a problems with didn't give me any issues at all.

Cons: In less than a year, the switches on this keyboard have warn out. I thought mechanical switches were supposed to last longer than dome switches. Not the case, at least with this keyboard. Several of the switches on the 'Q', 'W', 'E', 'A', 'S', 'D' and 'Z' keys have completely warn out where they no longer pop back up after a key press.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure whether to blame Rosewill for the horrible quality of this keyboard since it seems to be the Cherry Brown switches that have failed, but in any case -the relatively expensive keyboard is now useless. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I thought I would spring the higher price for a mechanical keyboard, thinking that it would last longer, justifying the price, though that clearly wasn't the case. I'm not sure if I would buy another keyboard with Cherry switches.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is super-fast. The switches are really crisp and I can type like the wind.

Cons: Buy a wrist rest. It is old school in that the front of the keyboard is quite tall.

4 out of 5 eggsThis keyboard turned me into a wizard

Pros: This keyboard is amazing for typing- I can even type without looking at the keys now which I couldn't do with my old Logitech G15, so I figure it must be magical. But seriously, typing is a pleasure on this thing, what more can I say?

Cons: Very bare-bones. To be fair, the description didn't mention any extra features, but even the key-removal tool is sold separately. I feel it's a bit lacking on that end for the price.

Other Thoughts: I say it's worth it since I went from making a typo every three words to a typing wizard since I bought this keyboard. Still, for $100 I think they could at least include the key remover and a couple of USB ports. C'mon guys.
