5 out of 5 eggsMedia Center Perfect

Pros: Is an awesome solution for Media Center Pc's integrated into Home Theater Systems.

CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE!

Small enough to comfortably hold with 2 hands and use trackpad with your thumb surprisingly well.

Compact design makes it EASY to hide with remotes, on off switch onboard, and just hit enter to come out of sleep mode. VERY simple to use ZERO config, true plug and play.

Cons: As with anything we make smaller I admit typing is a little tough HOWEVER, compared to smartphones it's just fine.

As a standalone PC keyboard it'd be annoying, as a Home Theater Media Center Keyboard it's great.

No USB extension cable included. Many times you need to relocate the usb receiver for better general coverage and you must use a usb extension cable to do so. It's not a deal breaker as usb extensions are dirt cheap.

Other Thoughts: Overall we've used this keyboard as our flagship Media Center Home Theater solution and every user has loved it.

Price is right, compact, easiest setup because there is none, range is good, and it just simply works.

4 out of 5 eggsGood HTPC Keyboard

Pros: This is a nice sized HTPC keyboard (not too big not too small) track pad works well and the keys aren't too small . The wireless range is decent (about 8-10 feet). This thing gets an extra egg for durability mine has lasted through several spills and drops.

Cons: No back light! It can be really hard to see the keys in a dark room, I realize it would decrease battery life but they need to at least be glow in the dark or partially illuminated.

Other Thoughts: If lighting isn't an issue this keyboard is worth the price.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not last

Pros: Size, feel, range when worked.

Cons: Lifespan.
Simply does not last. Just quit, stopped working for no reason.

Other Thoughts: When I got it - I thought it would be the perfect HTPC keyboard, and it was, for about a month, then it died.
Don't buy.

2 out of 5 eggsLOVED IT! Untill it done died.

Pros: Small, great battery life, good range, cursor responsive & keys weren't too small.

Cons: Short life span.

Other Thoughts: Xmas present from the wife for Friday family nite's in front of the HTPC. Touchpad was responsive, range was good enough and the keyboard was great for typing in titles or remoting into the main PC. It just died. Switched out batteries, USB ports, multiple PC's. The radio still prompted and completed installation but the the keyboard\ touchpad never moved a cursor, changed the volume or opened a share again. Sadness ensues. 7 months or about 28 sessions and she's kaputsky. Will not be replacing with same.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's a gamble if it will work at all.

Pros: Nice size for HTPC, KB and Mouse together. Small size

Cons: It's too small for actual typing. Good for HTPC use but if you need to type more than a show title I would get something else.
Have two, one worked fine, one didn't. 50/50 chance.

Other Thoughts: I ordered two of these boards. The first one was great; worked fine and gave me a good feeling. The second was DOA, never worked at all. So I won't be ordering another. Go with a name brand that has better QA and overall quality.

3 out of 5 eggsSmall, but works!

Pros: Works. No coverage problems

Cons: Super small. Cannot type efficiently. I would not have purchased if I knew how small, but it is small which is nice to keep around the room, but too small to type. I have to type with one or two fingers, and cannot type naturally. I'm not going to return, but if I had to get again I would purchase a regular size.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It would work very well up to 15', which was perfect for my use.

Cons: Only worked for 1 month and then died. Going with Logitech or Microsoft on this one.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute Junk

Pros: When it works it works great I like the size and feel of it. Range was good even thru a wall.

Cons: Everytime I want to use it I had to remove and reinstall the batteries. Also battery life was extreamly short. After 3 weeks of limited use it quit working all together.

Other Thoughts: I hope I can get a replacement

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC use

Pros: Great little keyboard for HTPC use, the touchpad works flawlessly, small enough that it can fit on a coffee table and not be too annoying to look at, it can also fit in a small drawer easy enough. Truly is plug and play with every OS I've tried so far (7, Vista, XP, Ubuntu, XBMC).

Cons: It's really small, and hard to type on if you're used to a regular sized keyboard. More or less something to get used to, not really a huge con. I just wish it was slightly larger is all. Just try not to do a ton of typing with this.

Other Thoughts: I agree with the others. A USB extension is a MUST for the receiver. I used a 10' extension (was cheap), and the receiver is sitting right under my 50" plasma. My HTPC is sitting on a rack below the TV. I get full usage out of this all the way throughout my living room, no problems at all. My living room is about 25' x 12' (rough guess).

By the way, I enjoyed this little toy so incredibly much, I bought another for the bedroom. Not a single problem to report with either.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: This plugged into my Ubuntu box and worked without any configuration. I have not had problems with connections, and the batteries seem to hold up well.

Cons: It is a little small, and the key locations for a couple of things are not exactly where I expect them.

Other Thoughts: There should be more options out there for wireless keyboard/mouse combos. I suspect there is a market as people add a computer to the entertainment center.
