The SteelSeries Zboard for StarCraft II offers players the ultimate gaming tool as they jump back into the epic struggle between the Protoss, Zerg and Terran races in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

With its ability to adapt up to 150 games through a combination of removable keysets and profiles, the SteelSeries Zboard is unlike any other gaming keyboard on the market. Its “anti-ghosting” feature allows up to 7 simultaneous keystrokes opposed to the standard 2-4 on most keyboards. It can be fully customized through the use of the included SteelSeries Z Engine software which enables macros to be dragged and dropped onto specific keys by use of the program.

The SteelSeries Zboard for StarCraft II is equipped with 2 USB ports and includes the SteelSeries Zboard base with Z Engine software, a standard QWERTY keyset for everyday use, and the co- developed StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Keyset. I have been trying to get my keyset issues corrected for nearly two weeks. Support cannot even seem to get back to you within a 3 day window, and they are dense. My current problems (malfunctioning '6' key, '4' key launching Ideazon's old website) have been unable to be resolved. It's something distinctly from Starcraft so if you collect stuff, this would be a nice thing to have. Cons: The keys take more to press down than I wanted for quick apm. The buttons that are supposed to help you like "build", "build advanced structures" and "patrol" are way away from the left side of the key board. So either you have to look down and reach to the other side of the keyboard, or use your mouse hand, but I don't like doing either. It feels cheaply made. Other Thoughts: It may not seem like a lot but it's things like button layout, sense of quality, and button depression force that really made me not like it. I was expecting something that I could be competitive with and this is not the case at all. It's a cool collectors keyboard that you'd keep around to show off to friends, not play with.
