4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My technical knowledge may not have to do with being able to distinguish colors, but this monitor is nice and bright (if you want it to be).

Sale price was great at 149.99 (regular 199.99)

Cons: It only has a DVI connection which is lame for an HD resolution. I would have preferred an HDMI connection as an option. But I can't knock it too much since I should pay attention to the connection types. Same goes for the power connector. It uses a funky adapter that isn't like a standard power cable you could hook into a power supply or a monitor.

Other Thoughts: A good monitor overall still for a work station.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful display

Pros: I own four of these now, two of them for over a year. It's a nice low-profile monitor with a sharp display. When the new ones arrived a couple of weeks ago, the older ones still looked as good as the ones right out of the box.

Cons: None that I've found

Other Thoughts: There were some other comments about this product saying that the stands that come with them were pretty rickety. While they did seem a little flimsy, I've always had my monitors mounted and haven't bothered to look any further into that.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid 1080p on a budget

Pros: -Monitor has a solid picture (sans one con below)
-Was cheap for solid quality (around $90 at the time)
-Came with a DVI cable, which wasn't listed and a pleasant surprise

Cons: -Base is pretty cheap, but it isn't going to fall over or break.
-Monitor has some really bad greens by default and took significant fiddling to adjust to acceptable levels and still isn't 100%. But this monitor is mainly just used for general browsing and not any heavy image editing or gaming, so it doesn't impact performance.

Other Thoughts: For the price, the monitor was a great purchase to replace an old 768p monitor and is performing admirably. Doubly pleased it came with a DVI cable despite only listing a VGA.

1 out of 5 eggsDON'T BUY LG! JUST DON'T!

Pros: Nice Look, Good Picture

Cons: So Many problems, there is no warranty with LG, yes no warranty with LG, they will just scrow you over and over again and again! I got $5k gaming/workstation system, all high-end parts, and I got 3 of these LG Led's, after 8 months there is a white spots start to show in all of them, one of them start to blink sometimes, I contact the warranty they took all the info's they need and they said they gonna email me the shipping labels, I got them later and shipped only 1 (smart move), after 10 days they send me another unit, that one has even a bigger white spot! so I contact them again, and the super visor was like "am not gonna keep handing leds for you!" like its my fault they send me unit with bigger problem! after that he is like "you know what! I think we don't cover your led!!" o.O! after 58 min call! and sending him pictures, and tested the led on 3 different PCs while he is with me on the line, he said he gonna change it, guess what, after another 10 days, I got one 10 times worse, the white is blue! you cant read any text, so fussy, almost dead led, also got power supply problem, so I contact them again! sending them 7 pictures! and they said they are sorry, they will replace it with new or give me refund! because so many problems with my case, guess what! after 10 days, I got the exact same unit I sent in the first time but they messed up the box ! (yeah same SN), So I contact them again, (and the funny thing they seems so shocked! they always says "we have LED professionals in our warehouse who test the leds in 4 stages before they pass it out to the costumers!") , anyway they put me on hold 20 mins, and they said they are sorry they couldn't reach the warehouse super visor or his assistance (maybe that's why? they are always not there? ), and they gonna contact me ASAP, and now its 2 weeks am waiting! so please do yourself a favor and don't buy anything LG, maybe their things are nice sometimes but they have no warranty at all! now selling all my LG products and printing out this story with pictures and emails from them, for another costumers to know what they are getting! cheap trash!

Other Thoughts: Pay more for Sony or others brands and get a better warranty, and products last longer, these lg leds wont last a year without problems, and when it does, just throw it in the trash because you have no warranty!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good Price, Very bright as one would expect . Usual suspects in settings are available and few presets. Quality if the screen itself is fantastic.

Cons: Like mentioned before the stand is godawful, for stationery desks and no disturbances it does its job.

1 out of 5 eggsWas enjoying the monitor - until...

Pros: Good Picture Quality

Cons: Slow
Stopped working

After 2 months, 2 days my monitor went black and is no longer working. It happened mid-game, so I'm not very pleased. It was a decent monitor until then.

5 out of 5 eggsgamers perspective

Pros: the color is great out of the box and noticeably better than my 22inch AOC , which was just fine honestly.
I'm using my native AMD drivers and haven't tried the "stock" ones that came on the disc. see no reason to tbh.
I was a bit hestitant about this purchase initially , but now that it's here and I've ran it for a few days , I'm seriously impressed.
view angles are good , blacks are perfect , there is zero stuttering or ghosting , this monitor is great with world of tanks , eve , skyrim etc. Ive been testing it on everything I have since I got it.

Cons: a lot of folks have knocked an egg off for the stand ...
those guys should knock an egg off themselves for having a wobbly desk .....
the stand is fine stability wise.
From the bottom of the stand to the bottom of the screen measures 4 inches exactly. might be a bit low for some tall people like myself. But I just stuck a little 3 inch desk shelf/storage under it and now it's perfect for me.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to buy 2 more of these to replace my 22 inch eyefinity setup.

3 out of 5 eggsNice monitor but NO DVI cable!

Pros: I love LG Monitors. Crisp clear, minimal color adjustment needed when you set them up. It's pretty much the only monitor brand I will touch, after being burned by horrible quality with other brands. I've bought about 10 in the last few years for family and friends and they are well worth it. Other brands...don't even bother.

Cons: HOWEVER! The reason why they do not include a DVI cable is beyond me! Who uses VGA any more?? The monitor is HD but they still don't include a $5 DVI cable after all these years! That's just a huge shortcoming, you'd think by now that LG would WAKE UP and give you one! Dropping two eggs because of that alone. Give us the COMPLETE package instead of inconveniencing your customer and making them go buy a separate cable!

Other Thoughts: Otherwise, great monitor. Never been disappointed with LG.
